"The historical and architectural features were beautiful. However, for a hotel of this caliber, the Housekeeping was dismal. Our first full day there, no one had come to clean the room by 4 PM, so I called the front desk and they told me they were all behind. Two hours later, knowing it’s still come, so I called and asked for towels at least. They did bring those. The next day I let them know that we weren’t thrilled that the housekeeper hadn’t come, and we had to clean the room light on the door. We got home at 5:30 in the evening and still no one had come to clean the room. I went down to the front desk and ask for a manager, and was told the manager was at lunch and they would call me when they returned. They never did, but about 6:30 PM. They sent a housekeeper to do the room. This is not something that I would expect when you pay this much for a hotel room and it is supposed to be a high caliber place to stay."

We weren’t able to get a first floor room in building where we usually stay, the food was not as good and over the past several years we saw a decline. We always loved staying there but this time it was way too busy. Not sure we will return"
