"Fantastic stately home with lovely gardens. We had the cheapest room on the third floor and it was fine. The evening meal was ok but not fantastic. There is plenty to do and must be a golfers paradise.
The ground floor rooms were magnificent "

"The property was gorgeous! The room was large and the bathroom updated. Staff were really helpful and the food was very good. It IS very remote so if you are going as a destination to really use the amenities-golf course, pool, spa, etc., it was great. We had hoped to use it as a base to travel out from but the roads were so narrow and rather treacherous getting in, we didn’t feel like driving back and forth to other locations in Devon and Cornwall, which was too bad.
