"I stayed here last month too and like last month I loved my stay. I come to visit my daughter at OSU and to have such kind humans working there makes it AMAZING! I will continue to stay here. The only thing that would make it better would be a mini fridge and microwave. They do have that option but for bigger rooms for more people. Still I will continue to stay here because of the staff and the newly done rooms also the location and prices. 5 ⭐️’s"

"Great stay. The room was clean, spacious and we had a beautiful view of the river. Hotel was very quiet, but staff was readily available every time we had a question. Great breakfast - well stocked and hot!"

"Loved staying at the Independence. Upon entering the building everything seemed comfortable and cozy. They have wonderful front desk employees, eager to help with any needs. Our family came and had dinner in the restaurant and of course we hit the daily breakfast bar. It’s quiet but also feels vibrant. I would definitely stay again. "
