"This is a great option if you want a modern American style hotel close to Venice. It is very clean, has AC and the breakfast spread is included and pretty good. Staff is pleasant and multilingual. There isn’t much round the hotel except for the parking garages to park your car into prior to embarking into the Venice city center. We stayed here because of the proximity to the parking garage in Tronchetto so we didn’t have to carry our bags far. The main drawback is it gets expensive to commute into either San Marco’s square or Rialto via the water bus (Vaparetto). The Vaparetto is 9.50 euros each way per person. You can walk but, count on a 1-1.5 hour walk. "

"We had a great stay there. The staff was excellent with great advice on what to do and where to eat. It is a very interesting building (former monastery) and I wish I had time to learn more about it."
