"Convenient to park and shopping. Very nice place, quiet, some nice views of the Tablelands from back deck. Buy groceries in Deer Lake or at a local store with much less stocking. Black Spruce restaurant was good but a bit heavy on sauces - (Cod dinner). Hike up partway or all of Gros Morne trail - just 5 miles or so away. Don't miss Discovery Center - excellent geology displays. And Green Point for interest in the Cambrian/Ordovician boundary (for geology nuts like me). Very good kitchen, beds comfy, all one could ask for."
