"Our family of 8 adults & 5 children under 5 had a wonderful stay. Gabriele & his staff were extremely attentive and responsive throughout our stay. We had a few issues with the house initially, and they were quick to address them and make sure we were comfortable. The property itself is beautiful. The grounds were always very well maintained, and with the privacy and surroundings, we truly felt like we were staying in our own little oasis. It was a great setup for our large family, especially with the children. One thing we hadn’t fully realized before arriving was the distance and transportation to Taormina. It was typically at least a 25-minute drive to Corso Umberto, and taxis/Ubers can be quite expensive, especially for a large group. We would definitely recommend having a rental car when staying here. In our opinion, walking from the house into the nearby town isn’t practical. There is a market about 10 min away, as well as several great pastry shops and bakeries within about a 5-min drive for breakfast and other necessities. We hired the chef 1 night and had a fantastic delicious expereince. Definitely recommend. The only other thing we felt could be improved was the additional charge for use of the pool light and air conditioner, Considering the nightly price of the property, we personally feel these amenities should be included in the overall rental price rather than charged separately. We would still happily return in future!"

"This hotel is situated just on the edge of the main city on an unbelievably beautiful cliff in Taormina overlooking the beaches and bays below. Really breathtaking views - highly recommend splurging for the balcony. The pool was also very pretty, though we did not end up eating or drinking poolside. The bedrooms/bathrooms were pretty basic, but clean. Breakfast was not included, but at 22 euro, we did not partake. ***The one thing to note - the entrance to the hotel is at the bottom of an incredibly steep, roughly 250 foot-long hill. I'm talking 30-40 degree incline. There are stairs in the center of the road, but it's a hike. Like, we were out of breath every time we left the hotel. I couldn't recommend this hotel to anybody with mobility issues that is not planning on being driven from the hotel entrance every time they travel.*** But the views are unbeatable."

"Lovely B&B in Trappitello. A few minutes walk to the bus to take you to Taurmino. We found the bus easy to use and straightforward. This is a family run B&B and we found everyone to be so kind and helpful. Great communication on WhatsApp and helpful videos for check in. Great Sicilian breakfast for 7 euros. Would definitely stay here again. There is a really nice steakhouse, 5 minute walk. We found it very reasonable and food was delicious. We had the lamb! They have horse meat too but we didn’t have the nerve to try it!"

"We absolutely loved staying at Villa Ambra. It was very spacious with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for the 6 of us. The villa was absolutely charming with its well kept swimming pool and outdoor patios. The owner and his son were so incredibly nice and helpful, especially acting as our interpreter when we had car trouble with our rental. Thank you again so such a wonderful stay!"

"Our stay for a group of 15 worked amazingly. Space for everyone. The grounds, pool and interior are far more beautiful in person than the pictures. Anything we needed was addressed right away by the staff. The view of Etna is a huge plus."

"Really friendly welcome from the owner. Room was really comfortable. Entire facility was clean and well maintained. Outside space was great with lots of sunbeds and shade. The pool is exceptional. Breakfast was very good with freshly cooked scrambled eggs, fresh coffee and everything thing you could possibly want. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay there again."
