Loved staying here! Was a little weird with housekeeping asking us if we were checking out soon ( we still had about 2 hours before we had to check out by) but the staff we very friendly and helpful!

Clean, updated and enormous historic hotel room with a view of the USS Wisconsin. Best hotel value I’ve encountered in recent memory. Will stay again.

The room was noisy and very difficult to sleep in. A lot of light pollution as well. Besides numerous small lights, a smoke detector was constantly flashing bright light illuminating the room throughout the night. Very disappointing experience with this hotel.

Anniversary Weekend
This was our Anniversary weekend and this hotel did not disappoint. I mentioned this to the staff & they had a complimentary dessert waiting in our mini fridge. Everything was perfect! We will be back!

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights, staff was kind and friendly room was clean, but my husband needed to work from the room and there was no work area. The hotel is more setup for design than function, and there was no table, only rocking chairs to sit in, and a low lamp in the middle of the room we kept hitting our head on. All the surfaces were messy with a coffee machine, snacks to buy and a art book so no good surfaces to keep things on. There was only a small wardrobe and the drawers were small. Just not a functional place we would ever return to or recommend for anyone.

The room was fantastic! We were on the top floor in a corner looking down on the USS Wisconsin which was lit up for Christmas. The staff were all very polite and friendly and breakfast was wonderful!

Beautiful hotel in a great location!
Beautiful property with a hip vibe and great staff. Our room was spacious and quiet. The bed was also very comfortable. We were very excited about the Illy coffee maker in the room that made coffee and espresso, and that we could log in to our own streaming media services. The bathroom was so nice and clean with nice hot water but the water pressure could be improved. We had drinks in the lounge which were very good as well. We will definitely be back!

Poor in so many ways
They mixed up the reservation and put us in my sister in laws room. I went down to fix it and they said I needed to physically move into the other room. The toilet did not flush. They fixed it and then it broke again. We moved to the correct room and housekeeping never came. The bed was never made, the floor was never vacuumed, the the toilet paper holder was broken and on the floor.

Overall really nice and clean. Somethings mentioned in the description and hotel pictures didn’t match up for our room. Staff were nice and attentive. We checked in a little after 4 the line was long with one person working to check everyone in but we were provided with complimentary champagne. Parked in the garage directly behind the hotel easy in and out and could see the car from our room.

An all-in-one vacation without needing to leave the building. Beautifully appointed rooms, above and beyond service, gourmet, delectable restaurant and a glass museum that is not to be missed if you are anywhere near the Norfolk area. Art surrounds the entire lobby and restaurant and the valet parking to a Tesla charger was the icing on the cake. Not to mention, the USS Wisconsin sits in the hotel’s backyard. Love, love, love this place.
