Manager problem

Rental went fine. House and stay were both enjoyable. Not really any outside water views. Was charged an additional $100 dollars by the manager for a broken cabinet hinge on a cabinet we never used . Asked for the owners name and number to discuss the problem and Amberley-the manager refused to give out the info . Found out she is the one who cleans and charges for damages. Do not recommend renting unless you have her do a visual walk through on check-in and check-out. Make sure she doesn’t charge you for something you never did. I am a 73 year old great-grandmother that had her two great grandkids age 1 and 3 with me . The kids aren’t even big enough to damage anything and I certainly would have informed them if I had done anything . This is the first VRBO of many stays that I have ever been charged a fee. In the past I always had a contact number for the owner . This was NOT acceptable! The manager/cleaner could damage anything and charge the renter. I was not called about this-it was just taken from my credit card without my agreement. JUST BEWARE !
