Weekend getaway

Great location and the neighborhood is lovely. The photos of the property were a bit deceiving. While it had everything we needed, it was a bit disappointing based on the staged photos. The exterior lighting on the back patio were out except for three bulbs, the screen on the front room terrace was ripped and we couldn’t open the door for fresh evening air, the couch was broken, and there was trash still in the main garbage bin in the kitchen when we arrived. It was fine for a place to sleep, but unfortunately the photos that lured us in lacked accuracy upon arrival. Location and property were great but the expectation of the actual apartment was not met.

First night the dishwasher leaked all over kitchen floor. There was no hot water in the unit. After 2 nights of cold showers and they were not sure if they could fix, we moved out and found a more suitable accommodation. They said they would refund us our money, they still have only refunded a small portion. Terrible experience. I’m still working on it but shouldn’t be this difficult to get refund without hot water. Don’t waste your time here. There are many beautiful places to stay on the island.
