"Pen was phenomenal. English-speaking and very helpful getting taxis and answering questions. Pen made our stay wonderful. This is a beautiful resort in the middle of nowhere, which was just the getaway we were looking for. We did get a taxi to White Sand Beach one day and I was glad we didn’t stay there because it was too touristy. At night at Parama, all you can hear are birds and frogs. Paradise. "

"Fantastisk beliggende hotel lige ved stranden. Trænger til renovering flere steder, men værelserne er fine og rene - og med dejlig altan. Personalet gør det de skal, men er ikke venlige - de virker som om de ikke har lyst til omgang med gæsterne. Og så fylder deres mobiltelefon rigtig meget - især hos de, der arbejder omkring morgenmaden.. som iøvrigt er noget kedelig og meget ensformig. "

"Good clean rooms. Big resort. Virtually nobody else there. Had food in afternoon when we arrived. Did go back for more later as info said restaurant open till 10pm (we went at 7pm), however, everywhere was shut by then. Good breakfast. Very few staff as it was so quiet. "Firstly readers should note that the Resort has recently had a change of ownership, so past comments should be read with caution. The resort (like the whole island) was very quiet but Value For Money. However it should be Noted that there is limited Car Parking and the road to it is narrow with sharp bends. But is situated in an ideal area near shops, Bars, massage parlours and Restaurants (Buffalo Bills is Highly Recommended). Two negatives (which I’m sure in time will be rectified) are the Rooms are serviced every other day, but Bottled water and Coffee are delivered daily, meaning soiled toilet paper, food waste etc remain in the bin for two days. Also there are no advertised operating times for the Restaurant and Bar, meaning that when we returned at 21:00 for a nightcap the Bar had closed because it was quiet. I cannot blame them for closing, but there was no advanced warning this may happen. All said and done it was a very pleasant stay and would happily return as we were treated very well."
