Clean and Quiet Studio Apartment C

8/10 Good
"Communication was awesome & quick. Real nice place inside, good space. Good hot water. Sufficient kitchen ware for 1-2 people. A regular can opener would be nice to have. Bed was medium firm, couch good. Heat for room had a couple times of difficulty but was fixed very quickly. Appliances worked well. Enough bathroom supplies. Maybe have a broom in the room? I did see one a few days later in the hall, maybe someone else had kept in their room? I think location for sweet suites in different on the city map by a couple of blocks? Her message about address was accurate. It is not far off the main street. Costs for most things are higher than lower 48 states. Only a few restaurants in town. Rental vehicles are expensive. NOTE the taxi companies are mostly non-existant, but she knows of a couple to call or the visitor center has a couple to try. There were No taxis at the airport. I suggest making arrangements before arrival. I drove the road to Teller about 72 miles nw of Nome. Road was ok could drive 35-45 easily most of the way. Oh the Subway has a movie theatre in the back. there were some musk ox's behind the town. I would stay there again, probably better than most hotel rooms. Thanks M"
