"This is an older hotel but the rooms have new carpet and paint and are roomy. Bathroom had fresh tile and a newer tub. room had a nice view of a small lake. The included breakfast was strictly continental. There is a restaurant on the premises but we didn’t eat there. Prices were high for what u get but it was summer and there wasn’t much else available so the pricing might be in line with the market. We would stay here again, more likely in Winter for a ski trip."

"The cabin had the lake right in the backyard and you can see it from the house. It was a beautiful quiet lake and we seen eagles and rented a pontoon boat and caught fish. We had a couple hiccups on our stay with the Sullivan’s were very considerate of the situation and resolved it very quickly we will be going up again in the fall to enjoy the fall colors at the lake"

"Nice cabin, we enjoyed the beach, the quiet lake, and fishing. Kids loved the swim raft, especially when they could swim to it without weeds! Mick is a very attentive host. You can ask him anything!"

"Thanks to our hosts. We really did enjoy the peaceful setting. Everything we needed was provided. The cottage was very clean and well equipped.Such a lovely vacation spot. We hope to return next year."

"A perfect experience up north! Everything was exactly as pictured and the owners next door were so nice and welcoming! Very comfortable beds/linens. The setting is beautiful with sunsets each night. The Beaver's Resort was a very fun and super close place to grab dinner (& pull tabs!). I can't say enough good things about our stay!"
Quiet lakefront home with dock, canoe, & sunroom - dog-friendly

"Very nice place. Communication was a little lacking. The grounds have been untainted for a while, but walkable. There were plenty of fans available for airflow since there is no a/c. We stayed 5 nights starting the end of July. Lighting going down to the dock was lacking, making it tricky to get down there in the dark. Solar lights would help (there are several but most are broken). We used flashlights. Everything was clean and ready for us when we got there. Once you figure out how to use the front door lock, it’s easy to get in. Big huge bonus for us was the screened in back porch! We spent most of our time there! The dock is in really good shape too! Bathrooms are updated and really nice, with very good water pressure too. Very nice place to stay, the neighbors seemed very friendly and less than 30 minutes from Minaqua (easy to get groceries, staples, bait & tackle, etc). Highly recommend!"
