Wonderful friendly hosts! Loved our accommodations, delicious breakfasts and lots of snacks available. Our room was spacious and cozy! The location was close to many beautiful historic sites. This was our second time visiting and definitely coming back again !
Connie and Lorenzo Vizcarra.
We really enjoyed our two nights in Katie and Ray's beautiful, comfortable, peaceful home. Their were plenty of spots inside and out to relax, the breakfasts were amazing, and Katie and Ray themselves are delightful and friendly hosts.
We loved their attention to detail. The pleasant Southwestern decor was tastefully done. The hosts were genuinely friendly and interesting people. The breakfasts were sumptuous. It could not have been a more delightful stay.
Ray and Katie were wonderful hosts, very helpful before we arrived as well as while we were there. Their home was clean and very welcoming and the breakfasts were delicious. A little out of the way, but great for getting away.
Casa Paloma is a beautiful, unique B&B. Such a comfortable bed and homey ambiance! Ray and Katie are superb hosts and terrific chefs.
Breakfast was out of this world.
We are making plans to return.
I love the hospitality of our hosts. It feels like we come to visit friends. The food is fresh and delicious. The whole set -up feels so cozy and comfy. We love the Paloma B&B! I can’t wait to come back.
Everything was beautiful and designed for quiet relaxation and rejuvenation. The grounds were park-like. The back patio was peaceful and homey - complete with a friendly dog. The food was delectable. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. It was perfection.
We spent the last two nights of our roundtrip through Arizona, Utah and New Mexico in the beautiful and luxurious Casa Paloma B&B In Tumacacori AZ. A great find! The lush garden, teeming with birdlife (active birdfeeders!), was a wonderful place to relax. Many thanks
for the hospitality and delicious breakfast to Katie and Ray. By the way, the absolute highlight of our stay was the observation of a Mountain Lion on both very early mornings near the Santa Cruz river crossing, our first ever!
What a unique, cool piece of property. There are only 3 rooms that are rented in the 7,000 square foot home. Breakfasts were awesome from souffles to bananas foster pancakes. Anything you could need they had available. Several outdoor sitting areas, tons of wildlife. It was just very peaceful. And great owners.
Outstanding! The nicest B&B we've ever stayed in. Katie & Ray are perfect hosts. The rooms are amazing, with every attention to detail. We will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend it above everything else in Tubac and Tumacacori.
I am so thrilled I found this lovely B&B and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful, southwestern getaway. Katie and Ray are the consummate hosts and Ray's culinary skills resulted in tasty breakfasts with a regional flair. The property itself is charming and well maintained. I cannot say enough good things about Casa Paloma!
Great B&B experience. Casa Paloma is a good alternative to touristy Tubac, yet its location is only a few miles from Tubac, Tumacacori National Historic Park, and Tubac State Presidio Historic Park. Access is tricky but location in the authentic ranch lands is worth it. Delicious gourmet breakfasts Friendly helpful hosts, Kate and Ray.
Our stay at Casa Paloma was truly delightful! Katie and Ray were wonderful hosts and made us feel like we were at home. The attention to detail to meet our needs was wonderful! Breakfast was absolutely delicious!
We have recommended Casa Paloma to all our friends for an amazing get-a way.
Katie and Ray were amazing hosts and they made us feel right at home. They've thought of everything to make a stay here unforgettable. The homemade breakfasts were delicious. The rooms were comfortable, clean, spacious and quiet. The common areas were welcoming and relaxing. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful. We had an absolutely delightful 2 night stay and can't wait to go back again!
First of all, the hosts were the most friendliest people you can find running such a business. I am so eager to go back again and I think I’m going to make this place as my go to place when I’m in the area. The breakfasts were just out of this world delicious and fresh and the setting of the house itself is just absolutely beautiful. Anyone who wants such a setting and experience, I highly recommend this B&B. Thank you to our hosts.
This place is amazing! Beautiful setting, walkable to the Santa Cruz river and historic Anza trail. Tubac is 4 miles up the road. The property is wonderful with nice rooms, comfortable common areas and patios and great bird watching. The breakfasts were the best we've ever experienced in a B&B. And the hosts were welcoming, gracious and accommodating. We will be back for sure!
My sister and I stayed 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. Ray and Katie went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was clean and comfortable. Home cooked gourmet breakfasts were delicious with a great variety of food. All of the little “extras”, like the snack basket and birthday cake were a sweet surprise!
What an unexpected gem that feels like your in the middle of nowhere and yet, you are only a hope, skip and a jump from the heart of Tubac. The room I selected to stay in (with the lovely clawfoot tub) was spotless, well appointed and an absolute joy to stay in. I loved all the whimsical subtle touches (see pictures) that would catch my eye and the sheer peace and quiet this place offered. There is plenty of activity going on around you as the owners go about the day looking after this enormous property but its never intrusive. I enjoyed looking out on the courtyard and seeing another guest knitting or reading a book. The hosts are so warm and welcoming. They seem genuinely pleased that you are there and are attentive when necessary but respectful of your need for peace and privacy. Personal plans prohibited me from enjoying breakfast but it smelled positively delicious and the other guests shared with me details about how beautiful the food presentation was and how tasty the meal was. It sounded like a 5 star dining experience! There is absolutely nothing that you would not need that the hosts haven't already provided. They literally thought of EVERYTHING! The mattress was comfortable, the sheets soft and the bath towels were thirsty. If your looking for something more than your average hotel stay, this would be it! I'm already daydreaming about my next stay there!
The Proprietors of Casa Paloma, Katie and Ray, are delightful people and made us feel welcome even before we had the car parked! The facility and grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and you can see their love for the place everywhere you turn. These wonderful people do everything they can to make you feel like family: fruit, snacks, candy, flowers, and, water in your room when you arrive, a full tour of the place, (including the hummingbirds) and their dogs are the friendliest most laid back ever. And all that was before we had even experienced their breakfast!
We were there two mornings for breakfast and they were both amazing! Freshly baked banana and zucchini breads, exotic jams and jellies, then main courses cooked by Ray: bananas foster pancakes one, day and a amazing egg chili and cheese soufflé the next, all with bacon or sausage, great coffee, juice, you name it. Did I forget to mention the grilled fresh fruit?
This, was our first stay at a B&B and I think they have spoiled us for anyplace else.
My wife and I were talking on the way home from our 4 day trip from Phoenix area to Tombstone, Bisbee, and Tubac, and the best part of the vacation for both of us was the time we spent at Casa Paloma and hanging out with Katie and Ray.
Tombstone was great fun, but not as satisfying and rewarding as our two nights at Casa Paloma!
If you are looking for a relaxing and satisfying experience, you HAVE to spend a few days at Casa Paloma!
We can't wait to go back!
