"Good: Brand new hotel, the duplex I stayed ihad an attached carport parking. Good size room. Quiet. Convenient location, Cheap room rate Not too good: Ants in the bathroom. Smelly towels and pillows too hard and high. The bed is firm/hard. The choice of furniture and its arrangement did not take advantage of good room size. I would stay again next time in Trat. Sleep Soundly By The sea

Sleep Soundly By The sea

8/10 Good
"Nice rooms, nice pool, nice distant view of the sea. Tucked away from busy streets which will appeal to some but others will miss being close to restaurants and bars. Breakfast is available but you need to drive to get lunch and dinner as there is no restaurant onsite. We enjoyed our stay and didn’t mind driving out and arranging dinner in advance."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Noen Sai?
The best area to stay in Noen Sai, Trat Province, Thailand, is along the coastline near the main beaches, particularly around Hat Lek and the border crossing.

Hat Lek is a small but convenient area, well-known for its proximity to the Cambodian border. While not a bustling tourist hub, it offers a practical base for travellers looking to cross into Cambodia or explore the nearby coastal areas. The main road through Hat Lek features a few local eateries and small shops, and the beach itself is a pleasant spot for a stroll.

For travellers planning to visit Koh Kong in Cambodia, staying in Hat Lek makes the border crossing straightforward. The immigration office is located directly on the main road, and accommodation options here are typically geared towards those needing a stopover before or after their journey across the border.
When is the best time to go to Noen Sai?
The best time to go to Noen Sai is during the dry season, which runs from November to February. This period offers pleasant weather conditions, making it ideal for exploring the area.

During these months, you can expect plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 25°C to 30°C. This makes it great for enjoying outdoor activities like visiting the nearby waterfalls or exploring the local markets without the humidity and heavy rainfall of the monsoon season.

Couples looking for a relaxing escape will find this time particularly appealing. The calmer seas are excellent for boat trips to the surrounding islands, and the evenings are cool enough for comfortable al fresco dining.
