"beautiful property, the staff its very pleasant and try to accompany your needs. we traveled with small children and they helped us with all our requests. the hotel has a restaurant on site and dinner was delicious. Also on reception area they have a mini bar ans prepare couple drinks and nice lounge area to enjoy it. i highly recommended. its a very short and easy drive from Assisi and has beautiful views of the city and the mountains. my only small complaint it was the bed was very hard..:(....

"This is one of the best hotels we have stayed 3 nights in. The room was full of character, the bathroom spotless, our meal in the Locanda restaurant superb and we even enjoyed the 15 minute uphill walk into Assisi! The staff were really helpful and friendly, especially Beatrice on reception and the breakfast room manager Petra. The grounds are peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended"

"Our stay at Borgo della Marmotta was amazing. The staff across the hotel were incredibly welcoming and friendly, the food was excellent and affordable, and the property and rooms were tastefully decorated and kept spotless. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Renting a car is highly advisable, as transport links are poor and hard to navigate. "

"The place is perfect! Everything is impeccably clean. Only 30 minutes walk from my room to the Basilica of St. Francis on the hilltop. And I even walked very slowly. I highly recommend this place. Great location!"

"Such a lovely spot, set in olive groves at the foot of the western edge of the hilltown of Assisi, just below the Bascilicas of San Francesco. Wonderful communication from the host, sparkling clean, easy access. Right across the road is the pedestrian road (climb!) up to the basilicas and town. Good exercise! Also right next to a gravel road that meanders through the valley, for flat walks. I loved staying at La Piaggia."

"The property is very nicely decorated and has a great view on the city of Gubbio. The facilities are big and roomy and nicely decorated. The cousine is excellent! The place seems to be a popular destination for weddings and birthday parties. The room are in a separate building so the parties do not bother, but they are not very sound proof, so if there are noisy guests staying the night you definitely want to have earbuds with you. Also because there is no stuff to call during the night."

"Posto incantevole in mezzo alla natura ma allo stesso tempo in una zona centrale da cui abbiamo potuto raggiungere agevolmente moltissime città e punti di interesse. Abbiamo soggiornato in due famiglie con 2 e 3 figli e gli appartamenti modulabili hanno consentito sia la privacy per ogni nucleo famigliare sia la condivisione degli spazi grazie ad una porta, che all'occorrenza si poteva aprire mettendo in comunicazione i due appartamenti.
