Small but clean, comfortable, well-maintained place with a kind and helpful staff. The bath is wonderful, and the phenomenal meals put this place well above other hotels in the area. Some may find the location a bit far from the shops, but it’s easy walking distance, and I found it nice to not be among the noisy tourists.

First time experiencing a ryokan and this place did not disappoint. Only sad thing is that I was only there (and Noboribetsu, for that matter) for 2 nights. Staffs were friendly and helpful.

The hotel stuff are friendly and helpful while the hot spring pond is quite small. The hotel located at roadside, convenient but not much scene to view. The food is delicious but the size is a bit small.

Perfect Noboribetsu Stay

Loved every minute of my short stay at this adorable, tattoo-friendly ryokan! Both the indoor and outdoor onsen baths were clean and very relaxing, the kaiseki meals for dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the staff were friendly, extremely helpful, and accommodating. Totally regretted booking just one night! The next time I'm in Noboribetsu, I'll be sure to check to see if Kashoutei Hanaya is available for several days!

This spot may not be one of the bigger roykans but is very hospitable. English friendly and onsen is tattoo friendly unfortunately the onsens are incredibly small the outside can only fit 2-3 people and the inside one is barely double that size. Dinner and breakfast were incredible.

대체적으로 좋은 경험이었습니다 가이세키 석식이나 조식은 방에서 즐길수 있다는 점이 감성적으로나 편한 분위기여서 매우 좋았지만 리뷰나 다른 여관에서의 경험에서 너무 기대를 했었는지는 모르지만 가격을 생각하면 평범한 재료와 맛이었다고 느꼈습니다. 특별히 나쁜점은 없었습니다. 노후되었지만 방은 굉장히 깔끔했으며 오히려 그부분이 개인적으로는 좋은 느낌이었습니다. 화려한 느낌의 방을 기대하신다면 아쉬울수 있을것 같습니다. 가장 좋았던 부분은 온천이었습니다. 상상하고 있던 일본의 온천 욕실의 모습과 유황향이 느껴지는 훌륭한 온천탕은 제 기대를 충족시켜주었습니다. 다만 전체적인 크기가 작은편이라 느껴 사람이 많다면 조금 불편할수 있겠구나 싶긴 했습니다. 직원분들은 굉장히 친절하셨습니다. 어느 사람 할거없이 계속 웃는 얼굴로 대응해주셨던점이 인상에 남습니다. 또한 석조식 시간과 픽업 버스의 운영 및 지원에서 여행객들을 향한 배려를 느끼게 만들었습니다. 노보리베츠를 관광하고 여행에 지친 몸을 달래는데에는 충분히 10점만점을 주기에 아깝지 않은 경험이었습니다. 다만 특별히 시설이 아름답길 기대하시거나 여관에 틀어박혀 여관만을 즐기기에는 규모나 부대시설이 작은편이므로 여관을 메인으로 방문하시는 것보다는 하나의 요소로 보시고 고려하는것이 좋을것 같다는 개인적인 생각입니다.
