Great experience overall!!! Clean, neat, and exactly as shown. Well coordinated decor inside and out. The only concern is that the steepest part of the climb to the treehouse can be slick with the leaves on the walk way or when it's damp.
This place is beautiful and unique. Easy walk around to the James River where we caught everything from Small Mouth Bass to Catfish. The only caution is that it is a small walk on an incline to reach the treehouse. We had no trouble with it, but if you have knee or leg troubles we recommend you stay in the bigger cabin lower on the ground. Hosts also responded very quickly to questions. Outdoor shower is awesome.
We had an amazing weekend getaway. The treehouse was so cute and comfy. The pictures do it no justice. Everthing was clean and tidy, we never had a need to contact the property manager for anything. We did however have a chance to meet them. What an amazing hard working couple. They were very friendly and accommodating. This was an unforgettable trip and we both highly recommend a stay here.... very romantic
Our stay couldn’t have been better. The treehouse was so cozy, clean, and perfect for the two of us. We thought the location was perfect, woodsy/cute near Springfield but also not far from Branson! We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway!
Dwelling was amazing ! Shower was very nice! We really enjoyed our stay here. Only thing I could recommend would better instructions for the trail/caves. Wasn’t sure where to walk to. Other than that it was amazing !
We loved the scenery and the uniqueness of the venue. It was also super easy to find and get access to.The review asked about our pool, but to my knowledge, there isn't a pool. The only thing negative I can say is that it's fairly close to the highway and can be a bit noisy at times.
We just needed one night to stay in order to pick our daughter up from camp the next day. This was perfect! Cute, comfortable and different from a boring hotel. I only wish the weather would have cooperated so we could explore the grounds further. Loved the king bed and the super-sized shower! Great stay!
We loved the treehouse we recently stayed in over the weekend. Everything was as it was described on site. The only thing a little taxing was the walk up the boardwalk to the treehouse. It is rather steep and can be quite slick. Take a flashlight if dark. We loved our stay and will stay here again.
Nice place close to everything…unfortunately we lost water on Saturday morning and had to rent a hotel room…still waiting on our refund for the last day…I understand it wasn’t anyone’s fault…Thank You
What a fabulous place! The inside was lovely. It was so peaceful and I loved coming out on the porch in the morning. The sound of traffic in the morning was much more than at night, but it still felt great to be in nature. Definitely hold on to the railings when walking back to your car in the AM. The morning dew makes the walkway slick. Also, watch for spiderwebs outside in the morning! But you are in the forest, so you should expect things like that. Overall, we were absolutely blown away by this place!
Loved being right in the trees, with a peek of the James River down below. Visually it does feel secluded. However, the highway noise is always present, so you're aware that you're not actually "away from it all."Additionally, if the venue up the hill is hosting an event you will hear all of their music, the emcee, etc. Wasn't really a problem for us, but others might prefer complete quiet and only nature sounds. The room was great, the bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower is nice and roomy, and loved the natural light of the glass brick blocks. One other little heads up: there is no divider of any kind between the shower and the main room. No door, screen, curtain, nothing. So you are fully exposed to anyone else in the room.Overall, we were very pleased with our Treehouse experience.
There are a few things that need attention: water smells terrible- like sewerage, foam padding on bed is cushy but also very hot and sweaty to sleep on, walkway is very slippery- especially when it’s raining and covered with leaves. Tried to email the owner instead of reviewing in this way but email was undeliverable. This could be an excellent place to stay if these issues are addressed.
Overall, the treehouse was nice. There was some concern over hair on the sheets and pillow cases and the fact the bed looked slept in. The host was quick to return my questions about this. Unfortunately, it was too late at night to do much about it. The other comment I have is that the treehouse is difficult to locate at night. There are signs but they don’t show up well in the dark. It is also challenging for disabled people to walk up the elevation on the boardwalk especially if it is wet, which it was. The planks were slippery. Also, on my reservation it never told me which of the 2 treehouses we had rented. We had to try doors until we found one that worked with our key vode
