"We stayed at the hotel as a family of 5 adults plus 1 infant. The hotel was as described on the website with baby-friendly amenities and quiet environment. The staffs were friendly and nice to kids. The food was amazingly good but it has a little portion of many different dishes so all of us weren't able to finish (sadly). The onsen was perfect for all of us to relax after a long day travel. "

"Everything was great from the hospitality to the service. Having a personal shuttle take you around town was great considering how "hilly" the terrain is in Arimaonsen. The onsens (hotsprings) are forbsure the main attraction and the time allotted to rent each onsen (45 minutes a session) was certainly generous. I've stayed here twice already and I'm already looking forward to returning someday."

"The staff are extremely professional and helpful. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the train station and about 15 minutes to Himeji Castle and Kokoen gardens. Shopping all around the train station as well. We were fortunate to get a room with a view of the castle which lights up at night."

However, the hotel was not well maintained and the condition seemed disappointing. The public bath was small with only indoor pools and looked filthy. "

"We stayed here for 1 night and it had everything you need (including breakfast!). Basic room, but extremely reasonably priced, so no complaints there! Also right by Himeji station, which is extremely convenient if you have a train the next day. Lovely pizza restaurant round the corner too. A few loud guests with kids running up and down the corridor in the evening, but they quietened before it was too late "
