The hotel was brand new, with lovely wooden floors and decor. Check in was easy and welcoming and location is close to shops, restaurants and Ueno station. The room is a large open space (we had three people in the flower room). There was also a portable cooking hob if you need to do simple cooking. We thought it was great value for the busy season we were in Tokyo. There wasn’t much to fault, only one minor things which may have made the stay even better- another option for pillow (although this may have been available, and I just didn’t ask).

The staff were always very helpful. They were able to have our large luggage transferred to the airport 4 days ahead of our departure so we didn’t have to take it all with us to Kyoto. Our room was quiet, clean and spacious with a beautiful view of Tokyo. All the toiletries were a bonus too!
