The hotel is located in an interesting area but not easy to access. Rooms are tiny but air conditioning worked well. Staff was extremely helpful providing tips and advice. Breakfast is served in a connecting restaurant but was disappointing with limited selection and little variety. Our room faced the street and the noise from late night revelers was a definite downside. We were awakened each night by loud partiers passing by. The weather was very warm during our stay and we were not able to keep the windows open due the noise. "There was a large party downstairs (floor below) on the Saturday night we stayed there. Music from DJ was very loud and pounding/felt in our room until after midnight preventing sleep. The Restaurant was unavailable due to the party. I wouldn’t recommend booking a room on this property when the downstairs facilities are booked in this way."

"On entering the hotel you will be met by warm and inviting staff. off to the left of the reception is an insanely stocked whisky lounge but prices are on the steep side for you average dram. There is a 24 bar located en route to the rooms and an Aperol was £18!!! scandalous.
Charlies is the main restaurant and breakfast area. breakfast was good but the plates were weirdly small, slightly bigger than a side plate. the smell of the “Smokies” reeked out the lobby at the lifts and filled the...

"Hotel is very pet-friendly and hence the reason for our visit. We stayed in a 1 bedroom cottage which was ideal for us and our dog. The only criticism is the food at Spike's Bar (at the golf club) was a little bit disappointing."
