Sidari Beach Hotel

Sidari Beach Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was near very good swim beaches in Sidari. The room was spacious and we had a large balcony which was nice to sit and have coffee in the am. There was an excellent restaurant next door so we could just walk there for dinner - nice not to deal with parking. The pool was also very nice especially after a long day at the beach. The swim beach areas nearby had umbrellas and chaises to rent for the day with nice small restaurants to have a bit of lunch. If you want to stay in the Sidari this is the place. The staff was also very friendly and helpful."

Grecotel Daphnila Bay

10/10 Excellent
"This is the 2nd time we have chosen to spend our extended-family group holiday here, the previous time being 3 years ago. We are a group of 17 with ages spanning 10 - 80+. 10-day holiday for us. The hotel is a great mix of hotel rooms in the main building and bungalow apartments that stretch from the hotel down to the sea. A great variety in the buffet keeps all fussy eaters satisfied. The À la Cartes are also really good and the App makes it super easy to book tables / communicate with hotel staff. The option for beach or pool also works well for mixed ages / interests. Starting with yoga at the beach at 0900, there is something for everyone. Many of our group also enjoyed pool sports at 1630, either in the pool or with a cocktail (for the adults) and French fries for the kids. You can be as active or relaxed as you like. Gym can get a little busy first thing as it’s quite small but has several running machines, a rowing machine and a couple of step machines. Great selection of free weights and more heavy-duty options! Shuttle bus service leaves for Corfu Town at 1000, returning 1400. It was too hot in town for us (and we’d bought all the tourist gear we wanted) so we grabbed an Uber back to the hotel. Would highly recommend for a family-friendly experience."

Sunshine Corfu Hotel & Spa All Inclusive

Sunshine Corfu Hotel & Spa All Inclusive

8/10 Good
"Excellent family holiday. Location is excellent, staff were excellent and very very helpful. We had a pool side room but there is easily enough beds around the complex. Gets the sun for 9hrs of the day before it sets behind. Wonderful sunrises. If you want extreme luxury and parties this not for you. If you want a family friendly quieter location this is perfect. Will definitely come back. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"Very very good, but it’s further from old town and Dassia then one would think A car service would be a welcomed addition. Baked into the per night cost that would go into old town or other areas of the island on time increments"

Hyatt Ziva Corfu

10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel and décor, we had an excellent size room and slept very well, food was good but very repetitive, I do think the a la carte restaurants could have been better... Staff were very attentive and friendly! The main pool could do with tidying up a little, there is some maintenance required and it could have been cleaner... there was sometimes lack of seating (evening entertainment area particularly and Sugar Reef bar ) and pool sides (loungers) when busy. The view and setting is lovely, hotel is in Gouvia town and there's a selection of restaurants and bars and gift shops if you want to leave the hotel. There is a small shop in the hotel as well as an excursions desk who were helpful also. overall, great stay!"

What is the best area to stay in Nisaki?
The best area to stay in Nisaki is along the main coastal road, particularly around the central part of the village and heading east towards Kaminaki. This stretch offers direct access to the clear waters of the Ionian Sea and provides a good mix of accommodation options. You'll find tavernas right on the water's edge, often with their own jetties, and small, secluded beaches accessible by foot or a short drive. The main road, although winding, connects the various coves and properties, making navigation relatively straightforward.Couples looking for a tranquil escape will appreciate the villas and boutique hotels located into the hillside with stunning sea views. Many of these properties offer private pools and terraces, great for quiet evenings. The area around Nisaki Beach and further east towards Kaminaki offers a selection of quality restaurants within walking distance.Families will find the eastern side of Nisaki, closer to Kaminaki, particularly suitable. The beaches here are often pebble with calm, shallow waters, ideal for swimming and snorkelling. Many larger villas and apartments cater to families, often featuring kitchens and spacious living areas.
When is the best time to go to Nisaki?
The best time to go to Nisaki is during the shoulder seasons, specifically from May to early June or from September to early October. These periods offer pleasant weather, with warm temperatures superb for swimming and exploring, but without the intense heat and larger crowds of mid-summer. You'll find that the local businesses are fully operational, but the beaches and attractions are less busy, allowing for a more relaxed and enjoyable experience. The sea is also wonderfully warm for swimming during these months. For those who enjoy a lively option and don't mind warmer temperatures, July and August are also excellent choices. This is peak season, so all restaurants, bars, and water sports activities will be in full swing.
