The Inn at Saint Mary's

10/10 Excellent

"Room was clean and bed was comfy. Stayed two nights. Staff was very friendly and most helpful with shuttle service. Breakfast was good. When I made the reservation on-line no mention was made that the lobby and other parts of the hotel was undergoing a renovation. It did not affect my stay but it would have been nice to know beforehand that there was a renovation underway."

"A very nice and updated hotel. Breakfast was good each morning, the gym was really nice (had a Peloton Bike), enjoyed the pool. Our room was very spacious and fit our family of 5 perfectly. Only con was it seemed housekeeping wasn’t the greatest. While the hotel was not dirty or dingy- the used towels at the gym and pool were never emptied and washed for our stay- I worked out each day (3 days total) and it was overflowing and never tended to. We had a difficult time getting our room’s trash emptied and new towels restocked (a major need after needing to bathe very frequently after beach trips). A sign in our bathroom said this would be done every other day, and it was never done. The front desk was very accommodating and seemingly doing housekeeping’s job (front desk mentioned they were doing loads of laundry, brought us towels, and new garbage sacks.) Down the hall there were full trash bags that sat for over a day outside of rooms. All in all, it was a nice, clearly newly updated hotel. The staff was helpful, but they definitely need help in regards to daily restocking and cleaning. The area surrounding the hotel felt safe, despite being outside of St. Joseph. Would overall recommend and we do plan to stay here again for our next lake trip."
