"We were there just over the past wknd. Great location to everywhere. The furniture is a bit old style, the floor made a bit of squeaking sound. Just over a night, so, it’s ok to us. The room is quite spacious room with big TV, but we didn’t bother to use it and used our iPhone and iPad instead. The only tiny complaint is that the bathroom floor need to swiped cleaner. "There was a nice feel to this hotel. It felt homely with it's creaky wooden stairs and beautiful bannister; when we came in late at night and let ourselves in through the big door with a key and crept up the stairs to our room so we didn't disturb any others, it felt like coming home! The staff were kind and smiley. Everything was simple but very clean and the breakfast was amazing with lots of choice: fresh fruit, yoghurt, meats, smoked salmon, cheeses and breads. "This hotel is located in a very nice forest area. However the building is fully outdated. Restaurant is closed. Breakfast is limited. Stairs to go to your room are risky. I was on the 2nd floor. If you want to walk, bring your own food, skip breakfast and have peace then this place might be for you."

The bathroom was roomy, with a tub/shower (but watch your step getting in). For me this was a convenient location to walk through the old parts of the city and it's narrow, cobblestone roads."

"Hotel in a really good spot. Pretty much right by the motorway but you can't hear the noise. The access is a bit confusing though. Also quite hard to get in at night – couldn’t get through on the phone they provided, and staff response was slow. Automatic check in would be appreciated. Room was clean, but there was still a smell of dirt. It used to be a B&B hotel and now you can really tell the owner change has made things worse."

"The receptionist, Yvonne, was the best I have ever encountered. She was bending over backwards to help, and as I witnessed, not just to me and my disabled wife, but to every guest who came in. This superb help made our stay at the hotel very enjoyable. In addition, the breakfast was also very good with a wonderful variety of options."
