"It’s the third time we stay here. It’s a new property at the center of Alba. Cute little town with several high end shops, great restaurants and bars. It’s close to everything we love about Piedmont. Truffles, great pasta and of course the Piedmontese wines. The hotel is great and the staff super helpful. Great stay at a reasonable price in the heart of wine country. "

"This was a highlight on our drive from Lyon to Nice. In the charming small town of Fossano Italy, this beautiful former monastery was a special treat. Service was outstanding - friendly, respectful with English spoken flawlessly from many of the staff. Our room, with sky high vaulted wood beamed ceiling was immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable. Modern bathroom with finished concrete bath and lovely toiletries. We enjoyed an apero in the bar ( complete with complimentary charcuterie plate at happy hour) and then dinner in their restaurant. Dinner was at a fine dining calibre with a modest price tag. Breakfast, included with our stay was filled with freshly baked cakes and pastries, fruit and delicious coffee. As fairly seasoned travellers, expectations in this mid price range are hit and miss.
