"It is in a nice location and the rooms are very clean with nice wooden furniture. The rooms are very dark and get no direct sunlight on them and lighting is not too great. Think they need to use lighter bulbs . The internet was really poor for the duration of my stay. The mini kitchen was nice and handy"

When I arrived, I was made to wait for twenty minutes outside the building, communicating with someone at another location through the intercome. When they finally let me in, my room wasn't ready, although it was more than three hours after the check-in time advertised on the website. "Our stay at this charming Hotel Alte Schule, in Bad Berleberg, Germany was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, every detail felt thoughtful and extra special. The warm hospitality, and beautiful surroundings made us feel completely at home. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and full of character, and the quiet setting was exactly what we needed. Our morning’s breakfast was fresh and delicious, with such a lovely personal touch. It truly felt like a hidden gem filled with warmth and hospitality. We left with such sweet memories and would absolutely return again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quaint, relaxing, and special place to stay in Germany.
