"The hotel, including the room decor, was very nice and had a unique old-country feel to it. Check-in was a little odd, as we checked in at the bar while ordering dinner. The food was fine. By about 9:30 p.m., the staff was gone, so it felt like you were on your own for the rest of the evening. Unfortunately, the A/C in our room would turn on but wouldn’t actually blow any air, which made for a very uncomfortable night. On the positive side, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. One other thing that surprised me was the 10:00 a.m. checkout time. In my experience, 11:00 a.m. to noon is much more common, so 10:00 a.m. felt unusually early. Overall, the hotel had a lot of charm and character, but there were a few things that could definitely be improved."

"Everything was good but I received no communication from host prior to checkin. Had to contact him for entry information. Please try to communicate with future renters to ensure they have the information prior to checkin. Otherwise, great experience"

"This home met our needs beautifully as we gathered for a mini reunion (2 brothers and a cousin from out of town visiting a sister and cousins who are local). Everyone loved the home. It is a place to stay in the home town that we will keep in mind for future visits."
