"Just spent the holiday weekend at this charming bed and breakfast. I loved the private parking and the access to a full kitchen. The room itself was perfect. "Staff lacks custom service. Front desk staff wearing a winter tossel cap, housekeeping wearing ear buds when I approached to ask a question (I banged on wall to get attention), coffee machine in lobby only water came out, lemon water canister in lobby very cloudy, breakfast staff NO gloves handling food and she actually pulled her cell phone out in the middle of a very crowded dining area. Stairs to basement breakfast FILTHY. Cleanest part of our staff was actually the bathroom near front desk."

"Second night a few buses arrived with young adults at 11:00 at night. Group took over floor we were on and very loud and yelling until midnight. Called desk, told they just arrived and would get them in rooms soon. That took an hour. Someone should have told them to keep it down. The lady on the desk when called at 11:00 was no help. The young lady at the desk in the morning was very good and helpful."

"The house was very spacious and although the neighborhood seems run down, the street was quiet and the locatio was excelle tsince all the attractions were close by. We had a family of 16 and there was space for everyone to sleep comfortably. Only downsides were that there weren't enough towels for everyone (luckily we brought extra) and the downstairs bathroom didn't have a curtain (towel was hung in the window). Both sets of stairs also had boards that were a little loose and it would haven been helpful to have a hand towel rack in the bathrooms. Overall it was a spacious house for a great price."

"House was perfect for our needs. There's an amazing bakery within a 3 minute walk. The path to walk to the falls is about 2 minutes away. The neighborhood might seem sketchy, we had no issues at all. The location was awesome. Would stay again!"

"1) the photo of the gas range was not what was not the stove in the house. It was a much smaller electric oven.2) No access to any cleaning supplies. Washer/Drier/Broom/Mop etc.3) There were very little cooking supplies. We had to go by pans to cook. 4) Best part was and most accurate was the fact that we were 5 min from the falls and 15 min from anything else we wanted to try.5) I felt like the renovations that were done, were rushed to get the house ready. Floors were uneven, back sliding door had screw holes where I assume they screwed it to stay shut and it didn’t even shut all the way as it was not level. I was worried about the safety of the deck as it seemed to be held up by fence posts and not 4x4. 6) I honestly wouldn’t stay here again or suggest people to stay there."

"If I could. I would give it 3.5 stars. I gave this a 3.5 for a few reasons. Overall, it was decent. It’s a great location! The host was very communicative in the beginning. We were asked if we needed anything and we asked for three blankets and they kindly delivered. The house is old, circa 1910, and quaint in that regard. It’s been “remodeled” and is decent. The bathrooms are not shown in the pics for a reason. They are small (like, your knees will hit the opposite wall sitting and I’m 5’5”!) and the only shower/bath is upstairs. This house is not great for people with mobility difficulties. I gave it a 3.5 because I asked the host if we could extend our stay by 1 hour and gave the reasons. They did not bother to respond. At all. A no would’ve been better than wondering and caused us to scramble. They also did not answer a question I had before our stay. I asked about the bathroom situation- I had two 84 year old grandparents with us. I believe not answering that question was deliberate. Other cons: There was no dishwasher and there was a strange smell. They had timed air fresheners going off and it didn’t really help and was quite strong. Overall it was okay, but we would not stay there again. "
