Perfect family stay

2 bedrooms 2 full bathrooms full kitchen living room and yard. Soooo much space for our family get together with plenty of space for privacy too . Quiet neighborhood, pristine home with all the amenities.

RI wedding

The Cottage Haven was clean, comfortable and very much a haven. Our family traveled from the West Coast for our stay. The cottage had everything and was a short drive from the wedding venue. The hosts were very accommodating to our needs. We would stay there again!

Lovely Space in Bristol

We loved our stay at this property. The owners were very easy to communicate with and accomodating. The property is as advertised and was perfect for our little family. Definitely recommend staying at this location!

Great cottage!

We had a great stay at the cottage. The photos are slightly outdated so was pleasantly surprised to see the property in real life. Everything was very clean and it was extremely kind of the hosts to provide water, coffee, tissues, etc. Would certainly stay again if we returned to Bristol!

Wonderful house, easy walk to downtown Bristol waterfront and restaurants

We had a great stay at Jay and Sandy's house in Bristol. The house is very well appointed, impeccably clean, with all the amenities. There were fresh muffins and fruit and coffee welcoming us when we arrived. It's a nice, easy walk to downtown, and we were completely at home there.

Stay In Bristol

The location is in a quiet neighborhood and I enjoyed walks around the neighborhood and to downtown Bristol in the mornings. The town is small with a few quaint shops and great bakeries. Location is great if you want to visit Providence, Newport, and Boston. Beds were comfortable and the unit is clean and well stocked. There were even a few treats left out for us which was a fun surprise.

Great location with fantastic hostsWonderful

I feel very fortunate to have gotten such a wonderful location that was close to all Newport has to offer yet away enough to have some privacy and enjoyment of the area. The Sousa’s were wonderful and kind hosts. They responded quickly to all questions And went out of their way to a sure we had a great Fourth of July. If you’re considering Newport, you Should consider this property

Perfect Place Close to All Bristol Has to Offer

Sandy and Jay Sousa have recently renovated their attached "cottage". It is beautifully done, with a well stocked full kitchen and dining area with plenty of seating. It even has a washer and dryer. The neat backyard has outdoor furniture and a grill. They were very friendly and helpful if needed, but also gave us complete privacy. It is very close to good restaurants, shops, Colt State Park, and many other places worth visiting. We definitely want to come back again with our two friends.

Great stay!

We had a very pleasant stay at this property. The owners were friendly and thoughtful. Less knick knacks than usual was a definite plus for us; it was a very nice sized and comfortable apartment for my husband, college age daughter and me. Everything was clean and tidy. Carpet seemed new/fresh. We found everything we needed. We sat in the back patio several times, including multiple meals. That was a real draw for us -- to be outside in a pleasant and secluded atmosphere. The location was a short drive to downtown Bristol and about 25 min to the heart of Newport. Very easy move in and move out was also a plus. We left a cute New England puzzle for the next family, and took wonderful memories. Thank you, Sandy and Jay!

GREAT place to stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay, as everything was super clean and the check-in process was very easy. In addition, we arrived to a refrigerator full of bottled waters and snacks on the counter for us. Highly recommended!

Perfect spot for a wedding weekend

We used Sandy and Jay's place as a landing spot for our nephews wedding weekend. The location to the wedding was perfect for us! The cottage had everything we needed and more. Loved the outside patio too! Their place was clean and lovely! Would definitely recommend!

The house was clean and our host was very responsive to our needs. The location is fantastic. Walk to downtown Bristol and Mt Hope Farm. Short drive to Newport and Providence. Don’t hesitate to book this property.

Cozy and Convenient

Cozy usually is interpreted as “small” but for Jay and Sandy’s Cottage, I mean literally cozy. It’s plenty of room for 2 couples, with 2 large bedrooms, each with a bath, and big combo kitchen/LR, and outdoor space. Everything was spotless, and I couldn’t come up with anything I might need that wasn’t there. It was so close the many restaurants and shops. We especially enjoyed the Nest for Reuben’s and a beer. The cottage feels like you’re at Mom’s house, and it just feels like a happy place. I strongly recommend it if you’re in the Providence area.

Weekend wedding stay

The overall experience was better than I thought. Very clean, comfortable beds anything we needed they thought of. The owners were very nice and were efficient with anything that we needed. Also very accommodating for parking with two cars.

The perfect cottage!

We had a wonderful time. The location was great- it was an easy drive or walk to coffee and shops near the water. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The cottage was as advertised- very clean and comfortable for our stay. Having two full bathrooms was a huge plus. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Jay and Sandy!
