Stayed 3 days, 2 nights. 1st day was great, 2nd day great, leaving the morning of the 3rd day, not so great. Breakfast served 6 to 9. Arrived for breakfast at 7:20, Unfriendly attendant didn't seem too pleased that I asked for a fill-up on the empty coffee dispenser... She never came out with any. Breakfast was good the day before, terrible this day. With the exception of the attendant on the morning of 9 April 24, all staff was super friendly, helpful and they are an asset to this remote little hotel. Would stay there again. Definitely recommend... They also do great cookies

Just okay, Not worth the Cost!
This location is good however, never could get the room at the right temperature. The young lady at check in was not in a very good mood and spoke very little, other than sign here and here's your key. Reception water and coffee was room temperature to cold: so no comforting hot tea for us to relax. Breakfast was barely okay. Eggs were over cooked, sausage as well. Selections were very limited and staff was no where to be found to request anything other than what was out. As for Eco-friendly, not here. Everything was Styrofoam and plastic wrapped in more plastic. This overall stay was definitely not worth the $150+ paid for 1 night. I do not recommend this hotel.

All is good except that we are older seniors and we had to carry our bags to the second floor. I asked for a cart of some kind but it was not available. We were also roomed on the second floor. Not good for older people. But overall the stay was good.

Every staff person was very pleasant. At check-in Caleb was especially helpful. I highly recommend it as a great place to stay.

The hotel is in Diaz, right across the line between Newport and Diaz, off a highway exit. It is within easy driving distance of places to eat and is about two or three miles from Walmart. The breakfast has a variety of options: waffles, biscuits & gravy, breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausage links, pastries (prepackaged), yogurt, fruit cups, cheese sticks, cold cereal, orange juice, coffee. The biscuits were not at all soft, which I would prefer, and I thought the food, although in what appeared to be warmers, was not warm. However, I took the food to my room and heated it in the microwave, which made it taste better. I stayed in a Two Queen Studio Non-Smoking, which was spacious. I was able to keep the room at 70 degrees, so it was comfortable.The mattresses are nice, and the towels are thick enough. When I needed housekeeping on Thursday morning, I was surprised that nothing was done while I was gone during the day. When I called the front desk about there being no housekeeping, I was told that it is only done every 72 hours for stayovers, which I think is a bit unusual since the price of accommodations is a bit high the area. Overall I think the Cobblestone is a pleasant place to stay. Most members of the staff were pleasant. Since it is the only place in the area that I consider as acceptable accommodations, and I need to stay in the area for two or three more weeks in the near future, I'm glad it's there.

Last minute reservations on the road, staff was super friendly, and the room was super clean and nice. Looks like a newer hotel. I would stay at another one again. Also traveled with dogs, and they made that super easy.

Great stay for a night or two. Unfortunately I did not have a shower curtain and I had to find a maintenance person to get me one. They handed it to me like they were too busy to put it up. Other than that it was a clean nice place.

For a being a couple of years old this property has some issues. The first room we were in had no working AC when I woke up in the morning I had no hot water because they informed me that the whole entire hotel runs off one hot water heater after the AC issues they switched our room and upgraded me to a suite for free And it was much nicer. We still had issues with the hot water the next morning. If you stay make sure you’re in the third floor because the other guests can be heard through the ceiling walking around. In my opinion, the price was excessive for what the hotel offers. It’s basic amenities for four-star price ($193/night) but if you’re just looking for a place to crash, it works. They also offer a very basic breakfast every morning as well.

Very nice hotel easy access
This hotel has been recently updated and is clean and comfortable. We were very pleasantly surprised and we would stay here again. The night staff was friendly, breakfast was sufficient, and our room and the common areas were phenomenal.

ce place to get a good night's sleep.
My wife and I were there for a double memorial service for some friends from AK. The stay at the motel was excellent. The breakfast was very good. The room was clean and the service excellent. No complaints. Many of our friends were there as well and none had any complaints. The people at the counter were always courteous. Will stay there again if we ever come that way again and need a motel.
