Great Location - Well Supplied
This location is minutes from the beach and during our stay in March, this stretch of beach was very quiet. The house is well stocked with kitchen items and plenty of towels for both showers and the beach. The garage has everything you could need for the beach, including wet suites in a range of sizes, plenty of boards, chairs, and coolers. The neighborhood is quiet and our host was very responsive. I would absolutely recommend this rental and would come back again.

Location is perfect!
This property is perfect for those who want to explore a Southern California beach area. Walkable to a couple of great places for breakfast, plus it's situated next to the beach boardwalk trail, it's easy to get around. Lisa is a wonderful host, extremely quick response, and the house was immaculate. The bikes and beach equipment are a nice bonus! Definitely recommend this property, we had a great stay!

It was a beautifully decorated, clean, well organized, lots of great amenities, well stocked towels and kitchen. The location cannot be beat and the off-street parking was fantastic. It had everything we needed for the beach, including an easy up so we could stay all day and get out of the sun for a bit. New great laundry, bikes, and linens. The neighborhood was really cute and we enjoyed going for walks as a family. The access to the beach was perfect, only one house away! The beach near the rental was better than some I saw lower down on the peninsula. Will be back!

Amazing stay
What a lovely place. Right on the beach and just perfect for our 5 days. Lisa has everything you need for days at the beach. We needed to contact the host for an issue with the garage door and she answered her emails immediately and someone was there straight away to fix it. Would definitely return

Best Newport Beach House
Everything about our stay was great! The house is beautiful & beyond clean, and had everything that you could need for your stay. First of all lisa has the best communication and thank you for that!!! The location was PERFECT... go to the balboa saloon see jefe....JEFF Go to 21 oceanfront and ask for mark try the justin isosceles and the crab legs and stay a night upstairs... Rooftop lounge at the hilton spa is a must Walk out the backdoor on the beach in minutes... one of the best values ever.... Thanks lisa

Fabulous property in great location
We had an amazing two weeks in Newport Beach. The property is great, and super well equipped with everything you will need. We especially liked the beach equipment including surf boards, wet suits, and body boards. Washing facilities are also very good. There are also bikes to get you too and from the town centre (about 15 minutes ride). Thanks to Lisa who did everything she could to make our holiday a success.

Great Location, CLEAN & super comfortable
We loved this house! We choose this house because of its location in a quieter area of Newport and it did not disappoint. The beach at this end was much less crowded & had lifeguards on duty. There is a market across the street and a few good places to eat nearby. The house was absolutely clean & had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable! The kids loves all of the toys and bikes in the smaller garage. Our extended family stayed upstairs and they loved it too! The garage was perfect for our midsized SUV (highlander). Overall a great family experience!

All around great experience!
We had a great time at this property. It’s really is just steps from the beach and was perfect for myself, my daughter and her friend for a quick stay. The house was sparkling clean with ice already made and in the freezer! The beds and linens were very comfortable. Pretty much no detail was overlooked. The garage is stocked with all the beach necessities and all on fine working condition. The parking garage is a tight fit, so if you’re bringing a large SUV, I hope you’re a better “Parker” than myself! All was as promised- even the upstairs VRBOers, we could hear quite a bit of noise from walking/running, including the dishwasher at 1030p. It didn’t bother me, but if you’re looking to rent this property, please know that there is noise. Thank you, Lisa for sharing your property and being such a great communicator!

The garages are very small (my S.F. and N.Y. friends tell me our garages are huge... ha ha :)- Most rentals in Newport are duplexes so it is good to note that depending on who is staying upstairs there could be some noise transfer to the downstairs unit. We don't allow parties but families can be loud at times even when they are trying not to be. I'm glad none of this will deter you from coming back and enjoying our house and Newport! The beach will be here waiting for you!

Beautiful!!
The location and home is beautiful! One house away from the ocean. Everything you'd need to use for the beach or a bike ride down the beach is provided. Lisa the host was so kind and when the Kuerig wasn't working actually delivered another that afternoon. (We hadn't even asked for her to do that, she was just so accommodating). We would highly recommend everything about this property. Thank you!

Beautiful Beach Property
Our family of four (kids ages 16 & 11) had a great time staying at this property! The location is just steps from the beach, and within a few miles of endless restaurants and shops. The house was immaculately clean and well stocked with almost everything we could have needed (kitchen wares, paper products, laundry and dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.). The kitchen was incredibly spacious and easy to cook in. The two bathrooms were beautifully renovated. Beds (1 king, 1 queen, and 1 small daybed) were comfortable and nicely furnished. New and modern washer and dryer located in the garage were a huge perk. We also enjoyed the bikes (multiple sizes—we range in height from 5’0 to 6’6” and found ones that fit us all), wetsuits (same on sizing), beach towels and chairs. A nice surprise was the nearby 10+ miles of river trails perfect for walking, running and biking. Our teen had no complaints about the multiple TVs and the Wifi speed, which might be a first ;). This is the perfect spot for an fun and active family vacation!

We were so happy with our stay. We loved having the beach just steps away and all the beach gear we needed. The bikes and the fireplace were a perfect addition. Clean and well stocked. Parking was easier than I thought it'd be. We'll be back to explore more of the area soon.

Very nice downstairs unit in a great location
This home was very well equipped and in a perfect location to enjoy the beach! Lisa was exceptional to work with and answered all our questions promptly. The beach gear etc. is shared with the unit upstairs so be aware you’ll need to share :)

The property is perfect. Is by far thge best property we have stayed around the world. Super clean, organized, great kitchen, cozy beds. Also many things to use to make the most of our stay: beach gear, bikes, games, books. Clear instructions to arrive and to find everything around. Great location and house!
This beach house has the best location! You really don't need to go far. Steps from Lido and amazing restaurants along with just steps from the beach! Perfect for traveling w/ children. The cabinets are stocked w/ kids friendly plates and cups! Management is very communicative and friendly. The place was clean and comfortable and stocked for a great day on the beach.

Perfect vacation
This was the perfect home for my family! We were steps away from the beach and the owner, Lisa had so many beach toys for my kids to play with. We loved spending part of our vacation here. Thanksgiving week awesome stay
We stayed at Lisa’s the week of thanksgiving. Beach was steps away and compared to other beach front or ocean view properties, Lisa’s was well kept and fully equipped(with baking trays, juicer, rice maker, coffee pots). We enjoyed using the bikes and all the beach accessories . Parking was not an issue with 2 midsize SUVs. We had another great family upstairs who were very accommodating (family of 9 and we hardly heard any noise) Her instructions were clear and precise. I will soon return Thanks Lisa

Great Location; Nice Property
As advertised, the best feature is the proximity to the beach and the bike path. The storage garage is simply filled with bikes, surfboards, wet suits etc. Given the weather we stuck with the bikes and road the boardwalk trail down to the Balboa Peninsula every day. There were good bikes for everyone, including our two grandsons. The downstairs apartment is very modern and comfortable and extremely well equipped. Both beds are comfortable and the kids loved the little nook bed. The apartment looks out over the PCH across a street and greenbelt area, but there is little road noise you can hear. Don't expect an ocean view, but having the beach just a 100 feet away makes up for much of that. Only (minor) complaint was that some of the games in the garage (e.g. badminton and cornhole) were lacking parts that made them usable. Note that the entry door is on the north side of the building, which is not apparent when you pull in the garage.

Fantastic time at Newport Beach
This property was overall fantastic. Beautiful neighborhood with the beach steps away. It was just enough space for 2 adults and 3 kids. It was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We really made good use of the bikes to explore Newport Beach/Balboa area. The host also thought of everything with beach equipment including paddleball, umbrella, sand toys, boogie boards, chairs and even a wagon to carry it all out. The host also had exceptional communication. She went out of her way to notify us of the oil spill and provided a list of other things to do in the area. Luckily, the oil was not there in the area when we visited. The host provided updates and also allowed early check in. I would highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

Great Stay!
Check-in was super easy - Lisa is super nice and communicates quickly. Just steps to the beach, enjoyed watching the sunset each night. Place was really cute, very clean and comfortable. Close to restaurants, grocery stores. I saw reviews on the size of the parking garage but I had no issues - the guests in other unit and I were respectful of making room for each other. Highly recommend!

Fantastic property!
Our family loved this house--it is beautifully remodeled and furnished and has everything you might need for a great vacation. We loved borrowing the cruiser bikes, boogie boards, and wetsuits. Lots of lovely details in the house (like really nice soaps and shampoo; great bedding) that you don't find in most rentals. All of the houses are very close together in this neighborhood, and on the other side of a street and small wall is a big busy street, so there is potential for noise, but we were not disturbed--neighbors seem to really respect keeping quiet at nighttime hours. The owner of the property was very easy to communicate with and helpful. Highly recommend!

The property is immaculate and well stocked with beach towels and very comfortable. The location is in one of the quietest and cleanest areas of Newport you can find that is still in close proximity to the beach. The beach itself is located at the furthest north end of Newport and is pretty far away from the boardwalk. The surf can be rough but the beach is clean and provides poles to play beach volleyball. The property provides all kinds of beach toys.. chairs, umbrellas, easy-up, beach cart, surfboards, boogie boards, wetsuits, and bikes. Everything is in good to excellent condition BUT you will be sharing the toys and bikes with other renters which can cause conflict. We had some issues with the bikes. Parking in the area is difficult so the parking garage is a huge bonus BUT again you share it with other renters. Unfortunately it is a very small garage and is supposed to house 2 vehicles but it’s an extremely tight fit for 2 vehicles. We were only able to use the garage once because the other renters either took our spot or parked in the center leaving us no room at all. Lisa the host made every effort to handle it but unfortunately was unable to remedy the situation so this was a huge point of contention for us. We paid for a parking spot and it was unavailable to us for 3 out of 4 of the days we were there. I would have loved to have given an excellent review but unfortunately our experience was not great. Sharing the bikes, toys, and parking was a problem. :(

The pictures do not do this location justice! The house was stocked with everything you need and more . I can’t sleep without noise and forgot my fan so the owner brought over a sound machine for me ( who does that ?! ) so thoughtful !! The bikes and toys in the garage is a huge plus and saved a lot of money as well. Would definitely recommend staying here !

One of the BEST getaways we've had!
The location, the amenities, the home itself....LOVED IT! To be able to wake up , grab a cup of coffee and walk out to the beach in just a few steps and take it all in....INCREDIBLE. My girls had a blast. from their own TV in their room, to all the toys in the garage to cozying up in front of the fire place. The place literally has everything you will need for your stay. Lisa’s place was nice for a quick getaway. The beach sand is just a quick walk away, with my luck the fog/marine layer rolled in my entire trip so I didn’t see much on the water. The location is about 12 minutes from Bungalow and Tanners if you’re looking for a nice rooftop. And The Lighthouse if you’re looking for a good brunch. Parking wasn’t a problem, the area wasn’t too quiet. You could hear normal living as you walked by. She had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. I didn’t think the tenants in the upstairs unit would bother me but I they would started running around the place starting 6am. And they invited other people who thought our unit was their so they would peak inside and call out. One man was literally looking through the glass part of the door, just told them there’s an upstairs unit. Not Lisa’s fault, she was great and I didn’t wanna text her and bother her about the upstairs tenants. All around nice place to stay at, thank you Lisa!

Hi Meena, Thank you for the nice review! It's too bad you had fog during your stay. That was not normal for this time of year. Thank you for the great restaurant suggestions, I typically only suggest ones here in Newport so that is helpful for me to add to my list! Your so sweet not to want to bother me, but I really meant it when I told you during check in that you can call me for anything day or night. The sweet upstairs guests parents arrived later than the rest of the group so I think they got a little confused on which door was theirs, sorry about that. We really enjoyed our stay. Lisa was very helpful and informative. This place has a great location for the beach and all the family enjoyed it. We will definitely stay here again.

Great spot! Steps to the beach and shopping!
Great place! Very homey. Just walk outside and around the corner and you're on the beach. Maybe just 200 feet from the door. Owner is very communicative. Would stay again!

I just returned from a few days of beach time. Everything that’s been said is true. The host, Lisa is awesome. The property is charming , clean and comfortable. The beach couldn’t be closer or more amazing. I had zero worries about cleanliness & COVID. Everything was clean, sanitizer spray was abundant. Go and enjoy.
