Girls trip

Location was perfect-walking distance from the beach. We rented bicycles and rode all over. We took the ferry to Balboa Island and shopped till we dropped. Lovely stay!

Perfect location for a quiet stay. Marina seconds away and the beach very close as well. Everything was excellent and the host was great.

Took my two elementary school sons to NB. This place was perfect. Right next to the bay, beach and park. Home was very relaxing and had everything we needed. We will return.

Newport stay

House was very nice. Owners were easy to communicate with. Neighbors had remodeling going on which started at 7:30 in the morning during the week which made it hard to sleep in. Overall a very good experience.

Fantastic & Relaxing

This little spot is in the PERFECT location. Close to the actual beach, food & shops, and all roads to either LA proper or San Diego for sightseeing. The space was great for 3 people, and while on the bathroom is small (as anticipated) it was still plenty of room for everyone to relax as needed. Parking was easy to find, being it was a quiet post holiday week, and we all very much enjoyed the quiet neighborhood & great light in the space. Would absolutely stay again!

Perfect place for two old high school friends to meet up for a girl’s beach trip. Convenient location to the beach and restaurants. Super secure and safe! Everything you need for a beach get away!

Excellent Location!

Wonderful location, a short 5 minute walk to the beach. Perfectly situated between both piers. Good communication/responsiveness from hosts. This rental could easily be a 5 if the main bed that creaks terribly every time you turn over was replaced, along with new bed pillows and area rug replacement with non-shag area carpets.

Wonderful

Great location as long as you do not mind a lot of noise in the morning. Apartment overlooks a nursery school playground so sleeping in will not be easy. Other than that, hosts were wonderful,. Place was clean and location was stellar.

Cosy, clean, and convenient stay near the beach

We really enjoyed staying at Cindy's house. It's a very convenient location, especially with kids: two great playgrounds with beach are within walkable distance. Everything is present (including dishwash / laundry tablets, etc.), fully stocked kitchen equipment etc. The place is clean and has a nice vibe to it. No garage but it was easy to find free parking very closeby.

Excellent Location

As described in other reviews, this is an excellent location. A few tweaks to the property would make it exceptional. The king bed is cheap. It makes a lot of noise when you move and there is no head board. And the pillows suck. The kitchen is decent, but there is no real place to sit and have a meal. Get rid of the junk furniture in the "living room" and add a table and chairs for dining. We had a great time, but for the money, I find a hotel preferable. And, oh by the way, the bathroom is a crackerbox.

Really great location!

You just can’t beat the location of this place! We had a good stay and communication with the property owners was easy and good. I just have two small quibbles: first, it’s impossible to appreciate how small the bathroom is without experiencing it for yourself. You cannot sit down on the toilet with your knees forward. My second quibble is that the main/big bedroom is not actually fully enclosed. There are some sliding doors between the living room and the main bedroom, however they do not go all the way to the ceiling. This means that if someone is in the living room with a light on or making any noise at all, the people in the bedroom will experience whatever is happening in the living room – and vice versa. I wish that the pictures on the listing would have shown this. Overall though, the location made up for it!
