First it was very clean! The gentleman running it was very nice! Very reasonable, and the original reason we chose it was it's pet friendly. Which we really appreciate.

Great check in Don was very friendly and accommodating very clean room great for an overnight stay and pet friendly. Only suggestion I would have is to put a small lamp in the room as the overhead light is very bright only a suggestion

Stayed here many times, very clean, cozy basic rooms at a very good price for travelers on the move. It's no frills, but worth it off the beaten path.

This was everything I needed for my quick overnight stay. The owner was very helpful and I especially appreciate him being flexible on my checkout time. The location is nice and quiet, and there is a cute diner next-door. I would definitely stay here again.

Don was a very friendly host. The location is peaceful and safe. Very reasonable rates compact and comfortable. Two diners in the village and a small open park within easy walking. Dog friendly

Don is a sweetheart that is patient and kind to his guests. The room was very comfortable for the price point. The only thing missing is a bath mat towel. Would absolutely stay again if passing through little Newell.

Don't let the location fool ya...

I wasn't sure about this place looking at it in the dark when I checked in at 10:30pm, but the gentleman was very kind and welcoming and my room was ready for me, freshly refurbished and clean as a whistle. I would definitely stay here anytime I'm in the area.

I stayed here while driving through South Dakota to Michigan. I liked it so much that I stayed here again on my return trip. The manager is very friendly. The room was clean and perfect. Nights are quiet, and I slept great. At an amazing price, this was the best deal ever!

Owner is super nice! Remodeling this older motel, so it’s not perfect, but it’s clean with WiFi, and tv. In a small town, so there isn’t a lot around but the diner next door is fabulous. Great stopover. Don’t let appearance fool you, the care given is first rate.
