Comfortable and stylish home so close to Mt Sunapee
Outstanding communication and flexibility on the part of the property owner. The home is stylish, clean and comfortable with great access to Sunapee. Despite being on the main road, traffic is limited and quiet. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. This is a great place to stay for a long weekend.

Weekend at Sunapee
We had an easy check in process, the place was clean and beds were comfortable. Had one minor issue with the grill that was immediately fixed with the property manager. Corn hole was a big hit with our 3 year old! We enjoyed our time at the Train Station and would book it again.

rented the property for the better part of a week and had a great stay. accommodations were as advertised and met our needs. quaint little spot just across from the lake. the stairs to the second floor are indeed STEEP, but weren’t an issue. would re-book.

We went up for an ice fishing trip. It was excellent house super clean and close to the lake. We all very much enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.

Fantastic anniversary weekend

Wonderfully Relaxing Cottage Near Everything at Lake Sunapee
We made this reservation earlier in the week and were so lucky to have found this property. It was perfect for my daughter and me on our tour of New England during her Spring Break. After several days of skiing we had a relaxing evening in the cottage after dinner at the Salt Hill Shanty. Plenty of room for both of us (she had master). In the morning we drove around the Lake and had breakfast and shopped in New London (Blue Loon Bakery/Morgan Hill Books/Grounds Coffee). Short but wonderful visit and we enjoyed the bottle of wine left by our hosts. Thank you! We would love to return and hope to do so.

Convenient location to Mt Sunapee
Cute cozy house for a weekend stay of skiing. House is right on the main road so some road/car noise at night. A little tight in the living area with no place to eat but not a big deal for a short weekend skiing. We are very happy with our stay.

Perfect for Mt. Sunapee!
Found this place for a spur of the moment ski trip after a big storm pushed through. Couldn’t have been more pleased. Great location on the main road made it easy to get everywhere. There is road noise, but it wasn’t bad with the windows closed. It’s worth the trade off for the location. In addition to the location, it’s a nicely appointed, comfortable place to stay. We slept in the upstairs bed which was amazingly comfortable. I missed it when I slept on my own bed last night! Linens and towels were very good quality. There is an additional bedroom downstairs. Both have king sized beds. Kitchen is nicely appointed. Used it to cook several meals and it couldn’t have worked out better. The comfortable lounge area has a large TV with a nice selection of channels. There’s also a nice, screened porch and patio with a barbecue at the back of the house. In the right weather, would be a great spot to barbecue and hangout!

Nice spot!
Beautifully remodelled, extremely convenient to Sunapee for skiing. It's right on the main road, but quiet in the evening. Bedrooms are large, beds really comfortable. We gave 4 stars only because the living/social space is small - no where inside to sit together, eat, play games, socialize. We brought in a small outdoor table and chairs, which helped. Great place overall

Very comfortable beds, clean, neat, however not enough table lighting. Also the stairs are fairly steep and the hot water in the shower could be a bit hotter. Nice place though!

Weekend stay
The rental was great booked last minute and extended for 1 night. Everything was very clean, with towels, fresh sheets, paper products, coffee, toilet supplies etc. The only reccomendations would be to add a tv in the master, and dryer for damp ski clothes, these should not be seen as detractors just a wish list. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location to ski Sunapee!
Our family of five enjoyed our stay at Lookout Station over the holiday vacation. Seamless check in, found the property spotless, comfortable beds, linens and towels. The two bedrooms are very spacious and we loved having dressers to unpack clothes. The living space itself is quite small, though the screened porch and back patio are probably awesome in the warm weather months. Less than five minutes to the mountain, location can't be beat! We would definitely stay again.

Great spot!
I was only here for a couple of days, but it was a great stay. The property is a great little spot, and had everything I needed. It also was spotless inside, extremely clean. Check in & out were very straightforward, internet was strong, etc. It was bright in the main bedroom in the morning but I sleep an eyemask so it didn't affect me in the slightest. I'd definitely recommend staying here, and would book again if I'm headed to the Sunapee area.

Brief but beautiful stay.
Our stay was a short one but we had everything we needed to make our overnight a pleasant one. Cell phone service is sketchy in the area and even that provided a peace you didn't expect.

Fall Foliage Trip
This is an adorable little place, very up to date and immaculate in a beautiful area. The kitchen was nicely equipped but only a small bar to eat at. While the bedrooms are large, airy with comfy beds, the only bathing is up a VERY steep set of stairs. This is located on a highway and the early morning traffic is loud. There is a good restaurant nearby but most of them are in New London which is a fifteen plus minute drive, especially for breakfast but it's a very nice little town.

This place was incredibly clean and as pictured in what does stink as we were made well aware before we talked about the traffic it was a bit much during the day but lessen greatly in the evening the location was better than the harbor down the street from two great restaurants in eitherDirection and a great deli the lake views were wonderful in town highly recommend

Lovely house with a few challenges.
The decor and finishings were beautiful. The location was as described. Convenient location for what we were doing. The upstairs bedroom (where the shower is) has a very steep set of stairs and there is no AC. The downstairs AC is great. The signs on the property are confusing - it looks like a rental office. Be sure to lock the door when you are in the house - someone might walk in thinking it is an office. That happened to us. Communications with Caitlin were very good. This was a very nice property with a few challenges. I spoke to the owner about the issues and she was very receptive and said they were working on resolving them.

Cleanest House Ever!
We were so thrilled with this property’s cleanliness and style. Everything is updated and the decor is great. Sometimes you get a rental and it’s clean but just having old furniture and stuff makes you feel like it’s dirty but everything from the linens to the furniture was superb! The location was probably the only part we didn’t enjoy. The town itself is great it was really more just that the house on a main highway so the noise was a bit disruptive but to no fault of the owners. It is within walking distance to the cute lake area where you can have lunch so that was nice and we loved playing cornhole. Maybe the only thing other things I would add is blinds on the front entryway windows because at night it felt a bit exposed with the downstairs bedroom door open. And the bathroom doors are gorgeous but not that functional if privacy is high on your list haha. If you’re looking for an impeccable place and beautiful decor as your base to the lake this is great!

"Mature" couple with dogs
The property looks like it has been recently renovated. Everything was clean and new. Perfect location close to the ski area, beach park, restaurants and marina. I would highly recommend this property.
