We really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely little cabin in a perfect location between Tahquamenon Falls and Pictured Rocks. Great place to stay and explore all the UP has to offer.
Our stay was really nice and comfortable. It was quiet and dark at night just liked I wanted. The bed was especially comfortable. Our pups also enjoyed their stay.
We stayed for 3 nights for a snowmobile trip and this place was great. Very clean and up to date little place. Lots of room for parking trucks and trailers. We will surly be back here!!!
This house is clean and very well equipped (from condiments to ziplock bags). It is like being at your own house. That was great.
We chose this location because it was perfectly located between Lake Michigan and Lake Superior with easy access to the Soo Locks, Pictured Rocks and Tahquamenon Falls
Very nice location, near Newberry, and centrally located for fun day trips to attractions in the eastern half of Michigans Upper Peninsula. Nicely updated cottage home was fresh and clean. Window Air Conditioner in the living room kept the whole house cool. Quiet and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay.
Great home-base for day trips around the Upper Peninsula. The home was clean and cozy and our family of 5 enjoyed our stay. We loved the apple tree in the front yard and the field of wildflowers. Our kids loved the bunk room and DVD's. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and grill. An outdoor table would be a great addition!
Be aware there is no dishwasher, and we were there during cluster fly season, so a lot of flies around the windows. It’s very small, so if you are large sized, it may be too small of a bed.
Very clean, nice to have a grill and fire pit with wood supplied. Good supply of kitchen equipment and some spices. Cozy house, quiet location.
Great place to use as a launching pad for day trips
Very nice, clean, and well supplied. It was just as described. We enjoyed being able to use the kitchen. It had everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable. The DVDs supplied were a pleasant surprise even though we didn't use them since we were shooting for an electronic lite vacation.
It was convenient for day trips to Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks (multiple locations), and The Logging Museum. All of which were worth visiting!
Very nice recently remodeled small house. Easy to find country home. Nice bathroom, comfy bed. We had an outside fire but if it was a little colder there is plenty of dry wood to build a fire in the stove with. Close enough to day trip to all the places in the eastern UP. We don't want to be in town with lots of people around so this place was great. TIM
