Convenient to Met Life and NYC
This was the perfect place for us to stay while in town for a concert at MetLife. We were able to drive to and from MetLife with very little traffic, even during rush hours. We also took the short walk down the street to the train station and rode the train to Hoboken, where we then caught a ferry to lower Manhattan. It couldn’t have gotten any easier. The space was very bright. Bathroom was nice owners are on site, or friendly, and on a texting/phone call basis. Would recommend.

The host were super kind and available to give references as needed. The home was comfortable and clean. I loved that they had a book made to tell you the history of the cottage and the renovations they did.

Five star oasis in excellent location
The carriage house is a gem in a beautiful area of Glen Ridge that’s convenient to everything you need. We stayed during Hyrox weekend at the Meadowlands and enjoyed a quick 20min drive each way on Sat/Sun. We enjoyed dinners in Montclair and quiet mornings enjoying coffee under the skylights. The owners are fantastic and have paid attention to every detail. We are looking forward to coming back for a work/vacation in the fall.

The perfect spot!
Just what we were looking for and then some! Our 3 day trip consisted of touring the city and catching an event at Met life Stadium. It was the perfect distance to do all these things and then return to a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood. The host were great and the place was unique and conveniently located close to the Train station. The host were available and helpful! Highly recommended.

Best VRBO ever?
I have only stayed at only 3 VRBO's in the last 10 years (the first was OK, the second was awful) and this one was by far the best ever! It exceded my best expectations and it was all due to the host, Chris, who absolutely went out of his way to make our stay 'exceptional' despite a few hiccups. (weather-related) His studio cottage was beautiful, very clean, very modern with loads of external natural light. I would book this gem again next year and anyone who does book will be amazed, and delighted. Chris is raising the standards for VRBO's.

Cute, Comfortable, and Convenient!
This house is just as pictured! Beautifully decorated and homey and has everything you need. Owners were friendly and communicative in relaying check-in info.
The location is convenient to MetLife Stadium and to NYC. The train ride from the local station does take an hour or more to get to those locations, but you can also drive about 15 min and get to a closer station.
The house is within walking distance (10-ish minutes with sidewalks the whole way) of restaurants and a shopping center with a 7-11 where you can get some necessities.
The only thing to be careful about if you have a big car is that the parking spot is kind of tight right in front of the door of the house. We fit a Toyota Sienna there but if you have a larger car, might want to double check with the owners.
Overall, loved our stay here and would definitely book it again!
P.S. if you’re a coffee drinker, the kitchen has a built in coffee/espresso/cappuccino maker prefilled with beans that are ground and brewed on demand. Very nice!
