"The room we had at the front of the hotel had a chipped sink and dirty shower. No air conditioning is installed so the room was extremely warm which caused us not to have a great night's sleep! The hotel promises a lot but it failed to deliver for us. The food is overpriced, catering to the execs on expenses, especially the breakfast, limited selection with only one person available for service so tables were dirty and cutlery missing. Our evening meal had a large hair in it and had to be sent back. So as a summary, overpriced and understaffed, the combination did not make a great stay."
"The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The location for the city centre was perfect and all facilities were clean and in good order. We had an enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel"
"Slightly tired room, could do with a spruce up, didn't think it was worth the cost (though it was the weekend of the snooker so there was presumably a surcharge) but it was perfectly fine and in a great location."
"I found hotel a bit grubby.
Breakfast selection was good, but was cold. Middle of afternoon I was in my room and a staff member let themselves in. No knock to warn me. I was told by reception that staff are entitled to enter rooms and to put up a do not disturb sign. Cleaners had already been. Noisy at night from local club, so didn't sleep well. On last morning toilet stopped flushing. Most staff friendly at reception and breakfast area. I wouldn't stay here again. Rooms need updating, especially bathrooms, as looked old and tatty."
"The heating was broke and we could not get it to work. The staff were unhelpful or just wasn’t there to help. Room was so stuffy and we could not breathe."
