Peaceful place, come enjoy your trip in your private place!, 25 minutes away from NYC, train and bus 10 minutes walking, 10 minutes away to newark airport.

We wont use this again

The place is super clean, the linens smelled amazing, and the shower is def one I wanted to take home. But if you are trying to rest, Id find somewhere else, the noise from above was nonstop until 1 am. Kids playing and thumping above till atleast 10:30pm. If you are trying to escape the noise, choose another listing.

Overnight with my daughter

Very clean and well updated place. Would have liked a lock on the inside of the room to feel safe in a strange place. (The door locks with key access. I would like a sliding bolt or a chain). It is in the basement and every step from the residents upstairs can be heard. Having a fan to block out noise could help. There were no written instructions for Wifi in the apartment or on check in instructions. We arrived late, and I didn’t want to contact owner. Easy on street parking. Location felt like a nice, safe neighborhood. Just a few small additions and this place will be a great stop before entering the city.

Had to recheck my booking when I discovered it was a basement apartment. I don’t think I would have chosen. It was quite adequate just not to our liking. You can hear toilets flush, babies crying, walking across floor. All quite normal just not to our liking. Handrail needs to be added as we were all well into our sixties and seventies. Lamps and rugs would help tremendously. Completely renovated space just lacking basic amenities.
