Absolutely terrible experience with this rental. The house had major electrical issues — outlets not working, exposed electrical wiring, a ripped ceiling, broken doors, and even plastic bags filled with electronics hidden under the bed. These conditions made the entire place feel unsafe. On top of that, the property had no real windows; one window was literally covered with a plastic bag, making the home even more unsafe and unlivable.The house was also filthy when we arrived. The floors were dirty, the surfaces were not cleaned, and multiple items were broken or falling apart. It was clear the property had not been maintained for a long time.This place is nothing like what is advertised and should not be rented to anyone in its current condition.We were supposed to stay for 6 days, but we left just a few hours after arriving because the conditions were completely unacceptable. I contacted both the host and VRBO immediately, but received no response from either of them.What’s even worse is that they have not refunded anything, and they are still holding my 1,000 deposit with zero communication. This is absolutely unprofessional and feels like a scam.I strongly recommend avoiding this property entirely. Save yourself the headache, stress, and lost money.
