"Beautiful surroundings, tucked away on the Lakeside as the name suggests. Nice quiet and peaceful. A little bit of a walk into the centre (15-20 minutes), but also possible to wave down a tuk tuk once you get to the main road (about 150 SL rupees to the clocktower). The rooms were big and clean. I'm a solo traveller, but was given a room that had two double beds, aircon and a ceiling fan. The shower was hot during the day, more by accident than design. "If you need somewhere to lay your head then okay but mouldy walls no kettle to make coffee no nothing. People friendly and nice is the only thing that is good about this place- but you get what you pay for- it’s cheap "
