Beautiful views of False River from this 3 bed 2 bath property with private pier, close to New Roads. Home features covered carport, all furnished , including washer and dryer. Bedrooms include a king bed, double bed, and 2 single beds for a total of 6 to sleep. Bring your boat for fun on False river, rent one of our party Barges or just hang out there and swim, lay in the sun or catch fish off the pier. There is a lighted fishing pier that can make night fishing awesome at times. Many of my guest have caught ice chests of fish, Bass,catfish,bream , crappie,Big stripers, & gar that live in the lake . There is plenty to do or do nothing at all! Shopping and restaurants are close by as well as activities in new roads & St Francisville. There’s TV in living room to watch movies. Kitchen has dishes, coffee pot, pots to cook, slow cooker, rice pot, microwave and dishwasher. Butane BBQ pit outside also. This is my fishing camp, not the Waldorf Historian. It was built around 1964. It has been in our family since then and it has provided us w/ many memories. We have kept it well maintained and we keep it clean for us and our guest . Come for your getaway and enjoy this beautiful river! Make your memories here, as we have and enjoy your family & friends.

Fishing trip with family

Great little getaway. House was clean and comfortable with everything needed to make us comfortable. Awesome pier for relaxing and fishing. The guys caught lots of fish.. Clair and David were the best. Will be back soon. Thanks so much for the hospitality!!

Great for a quiet gettaway.

We had a great stay at this camp. The hosts are great, and the property is nothing less then what is in the description. Me and my husband had a great few days here just relaxing and doing some fishing. If you bring a boat I would highly recommend going launch the boat before you pull up at the property, because the driveway is extremely rough and steep. But that is the only slight inconvenience we had with our entire stay. When we come back to False River this will definitely be one of our first choices to stay at. For the ammount charged and what you receive, you really cant ask for better. I highly recommend this propery and the hosts.

Home was great and the lication was stunning. Owners were very friendly and checked on us regularly.

We rented for 3 wks for work in the area and really enjoyed coming home from hard day at work and sitting on the dock and screened in porch. Owners were friendly and checked on us regularly. I would stay again in a heart beat.

This camp met all our needs... great location (close to grocery stores, restaurants, etc), nice back yard area, and large pier. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again soon!

The camp was so much fun. Our family had a wonderful time. Board games, books, utensils, spices , and much more things that you would need. Lo!!ts of outside sitting areas on porch and piers. Cant say enough for the camp. Very quiet and had ceiling fans on outside porches. Host are very nice.

Nice quiet getaway

We enjoyed our stay at The Camp, as always. We have been there a number of times and have never been disappointed. Always clean and well stocked. Claire was so helpful and caring, Hope to return in the fall so that my husband can catch fish off the pier and I can sit out on that awesome dock!

FISHING FISHING FISHING !!!!!!

We always have a good time when we stay here. Most definitely will stay again, everything you need is right down the street in the way of restaurants, grocery stores or shopping.
