"We had a nice, peaceful couple's weekend at this property. The guest house was very clean and well-equipped. All the linen was fresh. The bed was VERY comfortable - it was top quality. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking at the lake. We also enjoyed star gazing at the firepit at night. It was a great place to unwind."

"Stayed here to visit our son at Miami University (35 min drive to campus). The setting is beautiful and the yellow farmhouse sits back from the road and from the other rental property, so we had total privacy. Thoughtful set up outside with patio and fire pit. Walk to the river was a bonus. I love to bird watch, and tallied 30 species on day one. Metamora is a cute town nearby. Recommend The Blue Umbrella for breakfast. Lots of hiking around Brookville Lake. House very comfortable and well laid out. Kitchen had everything we needed. Would stay here again. "
