Uptown New Orleans Home -7 mins to FQ Free Parking
Upstairs Unit of a Historic Fourplex located in Uptown New Orleans Neighborhood! The area is completely safe, but we want our guests to be aware that it may look rough because of the houses directly next door. The houses next door do not share the same interior or exterior charm as this home. The two houses on the right are abandoned, and the house on the left has full time assisted living tenants. This home is on the 2100-2200 block of Louisiana Ave. Enjoy living in this Historic Uptown home that is a spacious one bedroom apartment with plenty of free street parking!!! Plenty of Natural Lighting during the day and stainless steel appliances and large tv with complimentary Youtube TV! This New Orleans Home features plenty of New Orleans Charm! This Uptown New Orleans home is 5 blocks from the St. Charles Parade Route!!! Enjoy walking to the streetcar or Uber to the French Quarter in 8 minutes! While this home still keeps its me New Orleans charm, we want to make you aware about the neighborhood. This house is centrally located in uptown New Orleans. Directly next door are two abandoned houses that don’t share that same charm. One of them has recently been purchased and is on its way to being completely redone! This is still a very nice home with great people in a great location. My staff and I are on call all day every day to make sure that you have the best 5-Star experience.
We get our towels from a linen company. Sometimes the towels might have blotches (i.e., bleach stains, burn marks, or tears). Our housekeeping does their best to ensure there are no hairs in the towels, but if one is found, it's likely from our housekeeping staff. We strive for this to never happen. If you're not satisfied with the linens, please let us know and we’ll gladly swap them out for you. Please make sure to book for the correct number of guests, as linens are prepared accordingly.

My adult son and I stayed here for one night. The neighborhood is as described and the pictures are accurate. The property was clean and not too far from a trolley stop. We felt safe the whole time. Would definitely stay here again!
We had a very nice stay. The property was nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The side pathway to the back is private and completely fenced in, so we felt very safe. The location was great and convenient for our activities. There was an issue with the Wifi and another minor issue and the host responded quickly to resolve the situation. We will definitely consider staying here again. Thanks.
Our stay with Poli was amazing! The space is just like the listing, Poli was a great host even brought us an iron! Great Hospitality, the neighborhood is a little sketchy but overall good.
The VRBO person gave an excellent description about the neighborhood so we were more at ease in the area. House was great but even greater was the trolley down the street and comfortable beds. Wonderful quiet neighborhood at night and people friendly. We are from France and our first time to NO. We loved it. Thank you
No parking like the add said had to park around the corner and there’s a camera on the house next door and the light stays on watching you on the back porch no privacy on the back porch Wi-Fi went out and stayed out the whole stay the shower was not clean when we arrived had to clean it out and it was all kind of homeless people and scary people walking around I would definitely not stay there again
This home is in a sketchy neighborhood. To get to the part of the home you stay in you must walk down a small creepy walkway between the house and a fence. Doesn’t feel safe especially at night. I don’t feel like the ad portrays an accurate description of what the neighborhood is like. Need pictures of outside of home for people to see. People upstairs moved furniture around until late in the night which was loud. There seemed to be questionable activity next door. It certainly wasn’t worth the money.

I have traveled all over the lower 48. During my travels I have stayed in many hotels. I have never given a review.
I’m going to give this property a solid 3 stars. I have read previous reviews on the location. To give an idea of the location. It’s not as bad of an area like around the Strat in Las Vegas. And it’s not elaborate like the French quarters. The interior of the home was very nice. The beds felt good. We slept very well. We were comfortable.
One thing that caught my attention was the lack of communication leading up to our stay. But once we got there the host was very willing to help us find restaurants and fun things to do.
Another thing that caught my attention was that this property has an outside gate with lock. Everyday we woke up, the gate was unlocked and open. So it defeated the purpose of security. We ended up having someone beat on our door for over an hour trying to get in and scared my children pretty badly.
One other thing that stuck out was the smell. At first we thought it could be the smell of something decaying . But after further review I finally figured out what it was. While sitting on the porch a 2” cockroach flew to the side of the pole almost landing in my hair. The smell is that of molting cockroaches.
I am giving a 3 star review based on the cleanliness of the interior of the home. The soft beds and the help of the host.
Parking wasn’t the greatest either. And the refrigerator wouldn’t get cold
Clean, neat, very comfortable beds, and excellent response time to all our questions. Close to every where we wanted to be. Area looks a little sketchy, but there’s a lot of updating/ Construction going on, but we had no issues and Neighbors were nice. Only real complaint is I wish there was more sitting in living room.
Location is in a less-safe feeling part of town and it is somewhat scary to locate the property in the back of the house, but we slept 5 comfortably and overall enjoyed our stay.
Upon initial view of the neighborhood, I was skeptical of the safety of the residence. However, the surrounding community turned out to be vibrant and full of young people, families, and students celebrating Mardis Gras, making my group feel much better about staying there. Also, the gated residence adds an extra element of safety, as no one can walk right up to the door.
The location right between the French Quarter and Tulane is unbeatable. It is a 30 min walk to Tulane, and a 10 min Uber trip to the Quarter. Perfect for my trip itinerary. There are not too many shops/grocery stores/ food places closeby, so keep that in mind. We had a car and were able to easily find parking on the street near us, but not so much as you approach St Charles Ave.
The host was super attentive and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend. Very clean residence, and more spacious than the photos give it credit for.
The owners are trying very hard. We enjoyed our stay very much, but could tell they had just begun to get this property into service. The shower head sprayed water all over the bathroom, incl. the ceiling, but the manager had a handyman come and fix it, even at 10 pm Fri. night. Very thoughtful. Wife is in cleaning business, and noticed hair and dust in closets, no wash cloths, tags still on towels, and dust on pot tops. Need pot holders. Internet and TV great, rear location away from traffic awesome too. Overall, great experience week before Mardi Gras.
