Granddaughter’s First Birthday
The host Wendy was wonderful and easy to communicate with. Her home has everything you could possibly need. She even had breakfast food already in fridge. The bathrooms were also well stocked. Great location, we walked everywhere and it was close to the street car for downtown travel. Neighborhood was nice, safe and quiet. We have family here and will definitely stay here again.

Wonderfully set up and spacious home. Really enjoyed the neighborhood - quiet and walkable. Near Tulane and close to restaurants. Easy uber to the french quarter. Highly recommend!

awesome home!
This is the best VRBO I have ever stayed in! The place was very clean and comfortable, and had every amenity one could want from the basics of soap/shampoo/conditioner to extra papertowel, toilet paper, sun screen to coffee, coffee filters, etc etc. The location is great - walking distance to coffee shops and Tulane-LSU. I would definitely stay here again. Wendy was also readily available and helpful.

Convenient, clean, safe, and easy
This is a very comfortable 3br/2ba with a nice kitchen, dining room, and living room. It is very convenient in the Carrollton area near a bunch of restaurants and Uptown. The hosts/owners are very responsive and nice. They provided breakfast (eggs and biscuits in the fridge) and milk for your coffee and a few other nice, thoughtful touches. 5/5 will stay again.

Great stay in a good location
We chose this property due to its proximity to Tulane/Loyola and could not have chosen better. The house is exactly as pictured and pristinely clean. Our host was very welcoming and made everything easy--even supplying snacks and breakfast items! The neighborhood is residential and quiet, but close enough to grocery stores and restaurants that it was very convenient. And less than a 10 minute drive to Loyola, which was perfect for us. We'll be back!

It was perfect!
The house was so cute and just as described in the listing. The Owner was so helpful when I reached out for questions during our stay. She had snacks and little extras that I had not expected. Delightful Unit in Great Neighborhood

Lovely Home in Charming Neighborhood

Loved it!
This property was perfect. Perfectly clean, perfectly comfortable for my family of 5, and perfectly located for easily walkable access to Tulane area and Oak street shopping area which is maybe second to Magazine as the coolest area to shop and eat in Uptown. It is also a quiet area where one can relax in a residential neighborhood before heading out to other New Orleans hot spots. We will look to book the Riverbend Gem for future trips to NOLA.

Charming, spacious with all the needed amenities
This is a charming house with great amenities, comfortable beds, and plenty of space to relax and unwind. The screened in porch was perfect for coffee in the mornings and wine at night. The hosts were very accommodating and gracious. We loved our stay here! An extra bonus was ample street parking which is hard to find in NOLA!

Wendy thought of everything
Great spot within walking distance of our daughter’s apartment - she’s a Tulane student. The house was immaculate with many extra details not found in most AirBnBs. Toiletries, condiments and other kitchen essentials and a surprise in the fridge for breakfast. Everything was also labeled very clearly and it was easy to feel at hom quickly. Great WiFi and smart TVs too.

Great Neighy
Great place to stay and great owner. Wendy was very helpful. Streetcar stop was close by. Kitchen was well stocked. Streets are very narrow and bumpy. Can hear trucks rattle through the neighborhood at very early hours.

Thank you, Julie! I'm SO pleased you enjoyed your stay. Yes, most of the streets in New Orleans are narrow and bumpy, being such an old city. We like to think that the city is so charming, we just overlook such imperfections! LOL

Beautiful and comfortable
This home is very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great, and street parking was never a problem. Wendy was a gracious host who stocked the kitchen with snacks and essentials. I hope we get to stay here again some day.

Lovely property!
This is an adorable property in a quiet neighborhood with an excellent floor plan. Wendy was very communicative and the check in was very easy. We had a rental car and the street parking in front of the home was convenient and always available when we returned from our outings. We didn't cook during our stay, but the kitchen seemed to have everything we would have needed. We rented this property because of it's proximity to Tulane, and we were able to walk to campus easily. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Wonderful home near Oak Street, Maple Street, and Tulane
We stayed here for a month while my son attended a summer college course. Our hosts were great and communication was easy. It is within walking distance to stores and restaurants on Maple and Oak street. I was particularly impressed by all the small touches Wendy and Tom added. For example, they provided coffee, milk, eggs and biscuits for our arrival. Also, the bathrooms and kitchen were stocked with everything you would need for a short or extended stay.

Wonderful site for a family stay
This lovely little one-floor home away from home is in a quiet neighborhood with live oaks, cardinals, and gracious neighbors. Wendy is a perfect, responsive host and the house is thoughtfully arranged and even provisioned with necessary spices, honey, ketchup, etc. There is a a little bodega for chips and beer one block away and full-sized grocery stores within walking distance. Excellent access to the St. Charles streetcar line is a short walk away, assuring full access to downtown. We did not rent a car and didn't miss one. Don't try to roll a suitcase or wheelchair along some connecting streets where the sidewalks have been thrown into disarray by oak roots.

Great house for three couples
This was a perfect house for a Jazz Fest weekend with friends. All three bedrooms are nice and big, with real king or queen beds, so no one felt like they got the short straw, room-wise. Two real bathrooms, too, and you don't have to walk through anyone else's bedroom to get to them (an issue with some places we looked at). Nice screen porch, nice kitchen (stocked with coffee, bananas, etc—thanks, Wendy!), lovely dining and living spaces. Very quiet neighborhood, pretty far uptown, but a fairly quick shot down St. Charles or Claiborne to get most places. Adams St. Grocery and their famous po-boys are a block away, renowned drinking shack Snake and Jake's is two blocks, and the Maple Leaf bar and whole Oak Street scene are easy walking distance. The owners also own the d.b.a. nightclub on Frenchman, and we got comped! It's been yeeeeears since I merited the guest list at a cool club! Anyway, hightly recommended house. Great trip.

The apartment is decorated so cute with very comfy furniture. Kitchen & baths were equipped with lots of extras that made our stay so pleasant. Our host even left breakfast for us in the fridge! Great location within short walking distance to the streetcars. There is also a little grocery store in the next block, which is so convenient. The apartment fit 4 adults & 3 kids very comfortably and the owners were super nice & easy to communicate with. We are already planning our next trip and will definitel stay again!

Perfect accomodations
Four of us elders (in our 70s) spent 5 nights here. The accommodations, including accessories, was perfect. Well stocked, well-functioning little oasis. We also found it easy to access the Carrollton street car for easy access downtown and to the French Quarter. We drove to the museum (NOMA) with ease since there is ample parking there. Uber was quick and easy to get to other sites with more questionable parking. Our hostess Wendy was most cordial and helpful. We do recommend dba club on Frenchmen Street for music. Overall, a very pleasant trip!

Best part of our trip to NOLA!
I cannot say enough positive things about Wendy and Tom’s beautiful home. Wendy was beyond accommodating from prior to our stay all the way to after we returned home. The home has so many thoughtful details for guests, including eggs and milk and breakfast bars/bananas in the kitchen upon arrival. Additionally, there was ample shampoo and hand creams/other toiletries stocked in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable as well as the couches in the living room which can be converted to sleep on. Additionally, Wendy owns DBA in NOLA and was gracious enough to waive our cover fee for one of the nights. Wendy was responsive throughout our stay with any questions/concerns we had as well as recommending restaurants. It was so nice after exploring for a long day to be able to come back to the beautiful and clean home. My friends and I would stay there again in a heartbeat !

Perfect location!
We booked Wendy’s house for our family of 4 while in town for a Saints game. The house is very clean, beds are comfy and Wendy provides a great combination of feeling at home along with some of the comforts of being in a hotel (personal shower items, coffee, snacks, the makings for breakfast on your first morning, etc.). The location is perfect for exploring the city, a short 3 block walk and you can catch the streetcar on Carrollton which continues on to St. Charles. You are also within walking distance to Tulane and Loyola. An Uber ride downtown is anywhere between $15-$20. There are numerous restaurants and bars within a 15 minute walk from the house and there is a small neighborhood grocery store a short walk down the street. Wendy is a great hostess, she is a available via text during your stay and checked on us a couple times to make sure we didn’t need anything. We travel to New Orleans several times a year and would love to stay here again!

Great place to stay, close to everything, clean.
We were very happy with our stay here. The house was in good condition and clean, and I am a clean freak so that is high praise coming from me. It had all the kitchen stuff you would need for a vacation stay, the beds were comfortable and the location was great, very close to the cable car stop and some good breakfast and lunch places as well. Wendy was super helpful with some suggestions of places to go while visiting and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. I would definitely stay here again.

This property is absolutely wonderful. It is close to the places we wanted to visit in New Orleans. This was my first experience using home away and the bar is set very high. Wendy was so great. Anything we needed was already there. The special touches were wonderful.

I want to live here!
This super clean and comfortable home was perfect for getting our daughter ready to attend Tulane. The house has beautiful wood floors and retro furniture that is fun and comfy. It is close to the Tulane campus and has several great restaurants nearby. I loved the neighborhood and felt safe and secure. We enjoyed the screened porch for coffee and wine. I can't say enough about the awesome owners, Wendy and Tom. They are true locals and know all the cool places!! We enjoyed our stay so much. We will definitely stay here on future trips to visit our daughter. I wanted to stay longer:-)

We had a wonderful stay!! Wendy's hospitality was amazing! From the communication prior to the trip to the communication during and after, she far exceeded our expectations!
