The hotel is good overall, has a pool and really close to a lot of restaurants but the room had so many flying bugs, I smushed at least 20 of them. Never had that many bugs in a hotel room and I had 3 sitting on me, gross.

I absolutely enjoyed checking in and my interaction with staff. However, the person in the room next to me had a ton of cats and the smell of cat urine was in my room. Fine fir the rate they extended, I am cool with that. My wife asked me to check for bedbugs and I said okay how. She said to look for dark marks underneath the matress cover. I told her ther are what look like mildew spots all.over and she told me to get my stuff and run out of there. Just the truth. I left ASAP and went spent more on another hotel in the area. I just want to share truth. The dude at the counter is awesome. But the folks on the room cleaning and monitoring clientele are failing to the point that I would recommend staying elsewhere. Guy working the desk, change jobs bro. You have hospitality in you. But that is not the facility.

However, we're truly sorry to learn about the issues you encountered during your stay, particularly regarding an odor potentially coming from the room next door due to cats. We have identified the issue and have taken immediate action today after receiving your suggestions for that problem. Our management works with a local pest company to inspect the entire property once a month and do any treatments if necessary. We also implement a plastic zipper mattress cover over all the property's mattresses. That cover prevents everything from making contact with the mattress. We also use a mattress pad to add a second layer of protection. We do apologize for the experience. Our staff strives to provide the best guest experience. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need anything during your stay. We would be more than happy to correct any issue if given the opportunity. The property is going under major renovations for both exterior and interior in the coming month. We hope you can give us another opportunity to accommodate you if you are in the area again!We appreciate your honesty and regret any inconvenience caused. Check in was quick and easy. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Property is being worked on yet guests are not inconvenienced at all. Very affordable. My room was wonderful, spacious, and clean. Located next door to the TA Travel Plaza which has a nice little restaurant inside. I’m happy to have found this little gem on my way to New Orleans for work. I’ll most definitely stop again if I’m in the area.

They were in a midst of some renovations but the staff was great. My son left his bracelet on accident and they were offering to mail it back for free. Thankfully our trip was a part of a longer trip so we headed back to get it. Would stay there again especially after they finish renovations
