Fantastic stay in NOLA
Wonderful accommodations steps away from the French Quarter. We stayed in comfort and luxury. However, the neighborhood is very noisy at night, especially with obnoxiously loud cars that pass by. Some sketchy people hanging out by the front steps or along the side street into the wee hours, often yelling at each other.

French Quarter Perfect
So I’m a local, grew up in NO, went to Tulane, now live 45 minutes outside of town. This location is perfect for me for anything in the Quarter. It’s on the “far side” of the Quarter but that makes driving in and out a breeze and it right at the Frenchman area where many locals go for music at night. You can walk to anywhere in the quarter, the canal street side is a bit far but I don’t do much there. It’s a bit far to Saenger and the other theatres but NO has a good Uber system. Option for offstreet parking is hard to beat. Thanks.

Loved the location! Walking distance to the Quarter but plenty of local spots to entertain and to eat! Had a wee bit of trouble with the lock system but the hosts were very communicative.

A piece of history
My daughter and I took a girl’s trip. We enjoyed our stay at the Lanaux Mansion in the Wieland Suite. It was very clean, well set up. I love the history of the house and the manager was gracious enough to give us a tour of the main house. It was in close proximity to everything, but wasn’t noisy at night.

I’m a local so I know where I want to stay
I stayed in this delightful property for Mardi Gras. It’s the perfect location if you are in for a weekend regardless of what event you are visiting New Orleans for. Easy in and out by car compared to most properties in the French quarter, situated between the French quarter and the Frenchman area. The excellent off street parking was perfect. In addition to the location, the building is old and grand. The room is on the first floor and it is a busy area so there was some street noise but the window unit air conditioner which work perfectly well too cool the room this time of year drowned out passer byes just fine.

Lovely apartment within the historic mansion. Outer gate has lock with codes for each guests. Very comfortable bed. Full size refrigerator with freezer underneath. Washer, dryer and microwave. Owner had small milk cartons and orange juices in refrigerator for us. There is a window unit that puts out a good amount of both heat and AC. Courtyard outside your door. Situated across the street from the French Quarter and around the corner from the music of Frenchman Street.

Perfect Little Suite
Beth was great, super easy to communicate with and responds quickly! We loved our little spot in the Marigny. Incredibly easy to get around and felt super safe doing so. The space was lovely and spacious. Plenty of room to unpack and get settled (even though we had a short trip). We will be staying here again!

The Perfect New Orleans get away stay
The Lanaux Mansion B&B was such a quaint and intimate place to stay, yet captured all the vibes and feels of living as a local in NOLA. Everything you could ever want to experience and do during your stay is just walking distance away. This was the perfect weekend getaway place for my husband and I and the Mansion will be our preferred spot from now on!

Great Little Place
My wife and I stayed in one of the suites of the manor for our honeymoon. It is really a nice property! On arrival, my door code wasn't working, but the property manager was very easily reachable and fixed the problem immediately over the phone! The location itself is very convenient as well! Nestled right between Frenchman Street and the French Quarter, this location is perfect to walk anywhere you need to go! We really didn't even need our car! That brings up the only negative part of our stay. It's not any fault of the property's, so I don't penalize them, but the parking situation in this area is pretty horrendous. There is either street parking (which was always fully packed our entire stay and has lots of warnings about towing) or a couple pay lots 1 street down. I would STAY AWAY from the pay lots! Our car got broken into the second to last night of our stay, and judging by the glass all over the ground, it is a common occurrence. We ended up having to leave one night early to go book a hotel near where we could get the glass fixed in the morning before our drive home. In retrospect, I would either not have brought a vehicle, or paid to park it downtown in one of the big building/hotel parking decks with some semblance of security. Other than that ordeal, however, this place is a great find! Very clean, lots of little amenities/coffee/snacks and a nice washer/dryer. Plus the uniqueness of the suite itself, with high ceilings and cool old furniture.

Beautiful, historic property
I’m not the same guy on Sunday morning that I am on Saturday night. I enjoy going out at night and having a great time, but I also enjoy a slow, quiet morning. The outdoor space here is perfect for a cup of coffee and has a historic feel to boot. Highly recommend this place! Very close to nightlife.

Great property and location
Couldn't have been happier with choice to celebrate a special occasion in NOLA while staying here. Beth is a friendly and responsive owner, and her property is beautifully maintained and wonderfully situated. When we needed assistance with a place to keep luggage after checkout, the management was quick to accommodate. Other guests were friendly and courteous. Just be prepared though, outside foot traffic can get a bit loud at night (the disposable earplugs provided on the nightstand quickly became useful)! Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Close to everything. Clean well taken care property. We enjoy the festival right there in front of us. No need for car rental. I am definitely staying again. The property owner were very fast to respond at all times and more than services driven. Gave us really good tips of places to eat and visit. No doubt the best experience ever for a first timer at NoLa and considering my first experience with VRBO rentals was not a very good one. Recommend 100%.❤️❤️❤️

perfect location to see the french quarter
We stayed at the mansion for 10 days for a halloween trip. Knowing practically nothing about new orleans, we lucked out finding this place. The mansion is beautiful, although i didnt get to see inside of it. The weiland suite has a separate entrance which was great for us since we were out all night and slept all day. Our host thought of all details. there was body wash and shampoo in the shower, and breakfast snacks in the refrigerator. There is even a white noise machine and earplugs to help you sleep better. There is also a washer and dryer for your use which came in handy. We parked our car in the decatur lot for the week which is just a short walk away from the mansion. we only took the car out of the lot one time and just walked everywhere. Its a wonderful location to see everything in the french quarter. I love staying in older homes and really appreciate the the woodwork, ironwork and the other things you dont get when you stay in a hotel. It was clean, and comfortable and i enjoyed every second i was in new orleans. I cannot wait to go back.

Excellent Historical Property (Weiland Suite)
I'm a frequent NOLA visitor (former resident) and wanted a home for latter part of a holiday week close to Frenchmen St. It would be almost impossible to beat the historical value of the mansion and proximity to both the Quarter and Frenchmen St. The Weiland suite is spacious with all amenities which is valuable if you plan on cooking. Andrea (cohost) was extremely helpful and prompt to assist with everything needed. Highly recommended especially for history fans in particular, but anyone wanting a great stay in this part of the city.

Wonderful experience
Absolutely beautiful suite in an historical mansion. Everything about this place is amazing. The property owner, Beth, gives a wonderful tour of the mansion and its history dating back to the late 1800s. The details of her mother Ruth’s efforts to update the property while maintaining historical accuracy were very interesting. The Wieland suite is lovely with a comfortable king bed, washer/dryer, and kitchenette. This is the ideal place to stay and the price is just right!

Amazing retreat for me
I was lucky enough to stumble on this property as I was making last minute plans. I stayed in the Wieland suite (1 bedroom) last week. I wanted to give you a big THANK YOU! The suite is just lovely, the decor was fitting and it was the perfect getaway for me. The location cannot be beat - on the edge of the Quarter and a block from Frenchman Street! At first, I thought the noise would be an issue on the Chartres side but I barely heard anything. It was a super relaxing space and great to work in as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find breakfast items such as yogurts, breakfast bars, juices, etc. waiting for me. I'm not sure if you usually meet your guests, but I will definitely try to book with you again on my next trip home to New Orleans. Again, thank you so much! Regards, Monique

Great location and property!
This place was great for my recent visit to NOLA with my boyfriend. It's close to everything, but in a quiet area. The condo was very clean and stocked with some breakfast snacks, which was a great surprise.

Excellent location in a fabulous historic home
Set between the Quarter and Frenchman Street, this home is perfect for those who like to walk and explore. Beth is an excellent host and quite knowledgeable about her home and the area. Have a cocktail in the courtyard or on the balcony, if you are lucky to book one of those rooms. You will mot be disappointed.

Bday vaca!
We came for my moms and I bday. Check in was super easy, location was perfect. Right beside the FQ without the noise and easy walking. Deli right around the corner for a quick grab. Beth was a wonderful hostess and quick to respond. The Weiland Suite was adorable with the kitchen and HIGH ceilings and comfortable chairs. I just can’t say enough about this place. Will definitely stay here again when we come back!!!

Accommodating even under unfortunate events
I surprised my wife with a trip to New Orleans for her 30th birthday and excitingly booked a stay at this lovely BNB a month in advance on VRBO. When arriving we received the entrance gate code, but quickly realized we didn't have a name of the specific room to know which door to walk in. We message the host Beth while standing in the courtyard. Beth ended up being on the property and meeting with us. We soon found out that vrbo double booked them and they had no room for us. Our hearts sunk as we realized not only can we not stay here, but we don't know where to stay. Beth said her and her aunt would take care of the situation and ensure we got setup with some place to stay. Not only did she and her aunt come through for us by finding us an equally beautiful place to stay, but they went above and beyond treating us to a special birthday dinner that night. The mansion was breathtaking from what we did see inside. But in the end the service and care we got from our hosts is what really sets them apart. We hope we will be able to come back to New Orleans and actually stay in this beautiful property.

A step back in time -- a point to step off to see New Orlens

I cannot wait to visit again.
I have stayed all over the French Quarter and the surrounding areas and this is my favorite place to stay by far. The property felt very safe, secure and private. Our room was fresh and clean. The mattress was so comfortable, I haven't slept that well in years. Beth was an amazing host and gave us amazing tour of the main house filled with tons history. She was able to suggest places to eat and was even able to get us reservation at one of the best restaurants in town. Thank you for welcoming us to your home and we can't wait to come back.

Historic mansion get away
Amazing how this 150 year old mansion has been preserved and updated for guest accommodations. Impeccable attention to detail and design by the owner enhanced our stay at the mansion. We would rate our stay at 5+, if possible. A very safe environment with security codes and excellent WiFi. We can’t wait for another trip and the opportunity to introduce more friends to this experience.
