Two bathrooms, a laundry room, a large fully modernized kitchen, a large fully furnished living room and a den. Large backyard with 9-foot deep pool. Six miles from famous New Orleans French Quarter. Chalmette battleground site of the 1812 Battle of New Orleans approximately 1.5 miles. Val Riess baseball complex 2 miles. Gateway to the greatest fishing grounds in America. (Owner's unit attached to main house, used by owner's when in town. This is not part of VRBO rental)

Peaceful Location
The house is so inviting and clean. All necessities are available. The host was so kind and checked on us throughout our stay. It is a short drive to the French Quarter. If you are looking for some peace and quiet at night, and the feel of a comfortable home then this is the place for you.

Pool is old & definitely needs a good deep cleaning. The first thing we noticed was the vacuum was in the pool but not doing anything. When reaching out to management/owners of this they advised it ran all night (it clearly did not) and told us to leave it in the pool. Why leave it floating around in the way with it not doing anything? The shower also needed a good deep clean. However, the bedding & kitchen seemed to have had the most attention and was well cleaned. We booked this property for the pool so that was a bit of a let down it itself. There is an attached unit to the property (description says owners stay there when in town). Turns out this is not true and it’s actually a rental. One evening we were relaxing in the pool when we noticed someone peeping through the fence at us then a few more times we saw someone peeping through the window of the attached unit at us. This made us extremely uncomfortable. When reaching out to the owners about this, they first argued and stated nobody was in the unit & they couldn’t do anything about someone looking through the fence. This was extremely concerning beings that you could clearly see people in the unit but they thought nobody should be there?! Turns out, the renter had returned sooner than expected. The owners first seemed to not want to do anything about this so we contacted VRBO who made things right. We checked out the next morning and stayed elsewhere for the remainder of the stay.

Great House for NOLA fun
This house was perfect for our getaway to NOLA. We were only 10 minutes or so from the French Quarter and everything we wanted to do. The backyard is huge and inviting. Tha k you gor everything!

This was our first Vrbo and The owners Mike and Judy were so nice and there when we needed them. The house was clean and well equipped with towels , bedding , utensils etc… they even had pool towels for the pool. The pool was definitely a win for the kids because they didn’t leave it 🙂The neighborhood was nice,quiet, and safe. The house is about 20 minutes or so from burbon st, the French quarter , shopping etc…. There is nearby eats as well as a Walmart to stock up on groceries.

Amazing
Mike was fantastic. Absolutly gorgeous place. Very clean and tidy. Stayed here with my wife and 4 other friends. Close to new orleans. I think we had more fun in the pool and just hanging out than anything else. This was an easy 5 star review. Would definitely recommend mike and his property to any of my family and friends.. we may just end up back here in the near future. Thanks for everything mike. And it was very nice to meet you.
