I put a 4 for the property just because it was really hot in the room even after closing the curtains and putting the thermostat low. The breakfast was also pretty small and there wasn't really a big variety of food. I wish they had some eggs, waffles, and just a more of variety. I also wish they had a more of a variety of juice. The TV was also giving me some problems so I couldn't watch Tv. I like that they provided water because it was hot and we walked quite a bit. I wish they provided dove soap. The staff was super friendly and answered any questions I asked. I even had to go to my car a couple of times and they were very patient with us. My daughter who is one had a great time. The tub was a little dirty but it wasn't anything we couldn't rinse out.

I wanted to try out a boutique hotel and thought this would be a nice stay . Upon checking in there was a smell of urine , the tub drain would not stay open when we took showers , the deadbolt on door did not go into groove leaving us open of some tried to get in. Lastly to inform front desk of all of this the phone did not work. We stayed for two nights but to be honest we should have left the first night . We informed the front desk clerk we’re leaving early and notified of the issues and was told we would get a call back today from manager which we still have not heard from.

Great price for the location! Walking distance to French Quarter and transportation. We did have issues with the bathroom and it wasn’t fixed despite complaining at the front desk. Apart from that, the place was clean and people are kind!

I understand this building is very old and that’s totally fine, but the plumbing and infrastructure is defficient. Room service only by request. Breakfast is continental and scarce, plumbing is terrible, the only working elevator was not clean. On the first day they only had a king size bed but I had paid for two queens. In various occasions I called the front desk and nobody would answer. People is really nice, but this hotel still needs a lot of work in terms of providing a good quality service.

Overall, enjoyed our stay. However, the design in the rooms is 'minimalist'. We stayed 5 nights - our carry-on suitcases stayed on the floor as there was no place for smaller items of clothing in the room. Did have a closet but 8 or so hangers. Would have been nice to have a luggage rack we could have set our carry-on suitcases on, rather than having them on the floor.

The halls smelled kind of funny. The keys given for my room wasn’t working and I had to make multiple trips to the front desk to get that solved. Ultimately, I got assigned a different room.

This hotel lobby was aesthetically pleasing but around Mardi Gras its an inconvenience of trying to fight your way through traffic is a no for me regarding the CBD area. Hotel was quiet but the room was alarming and didn’t look like the pictures online at all. The room looked a tab bit older. And there were no pictures on the wall. Staff was very friendly. We had to keep asking the staff for towels. Overall 7/10.

This property is in a good location, not so close to the party area that it’s loud, but close enough to walk almost everywhere. The rooms are nicely updated, but are lacking in some much needed features such as plugs for charging phones near the bed, and towel bars and other hooks to hang wet towels on and a space in the shower to hang washcloths. These obviously are minor things but all together got a little annoying. I will say this had the largest bathroom I’ve seen in a hotel so that was nice. Beds were comfortable, I had to ask for a pillow that was not down feather since I am allergic to that. They couldn’t find one the first night I asked and I had a rough time, but they gave me one the next day. All in all would stay again for the price and location.

The bad: Dirty floors, no windows. And several noise complaints that they did nothing about. Check out said 12 on the TV but they tried to kick me out at 11. TV says they offered chrome cast for streaming but it didn’t work, I called about it they said they don’t really have it. So why offer it? The good: walking distance to multiple restaurants and shopping. So it was very convenient in that sense. Extra: Plan your Ubers accordingly there will always be at least a minimum 10 minute wait time.

Great location. Very friendly staff. Rooms could use some upgrades, but nice enough. The "Continental breakfast" is barely an "island"😂.. no decaf coffee or plain tea. Only one elevator was working. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but there may be some better choices for the money.

The staff was great! Loved it was per friendly and the front desk agent didn’t charge us for our dog. Lobby was super clean and modern. Valet was great. Room was clean but didn’t have a fridge or a microwave. That was highly disrespectful. Another thing is room doesn’t have AC! It was very hot in there. It’s in a nice location and walking distance to bourbon street and canal street. I wouldn’t return simply because of the no air in the room. Plus the hallway smelled funny too. Doors are not sturdy and missing the pad lock to securely lock them in place

I don’t understand why there were so many negative reviews recently. My stay was terrific. No problems with heat, hot water or housekeeping. The breakfast is minimal but was enough to get me going in the morning. Location is great. Close to several Mardi Gras parade routes and easy walk to the French quarter.
