We get our towels from a linen company. Sometimes the towels might have blotches (i.e., bleach stains, burn marks, or tears). Our housekeeping does their best to ensure there are no hairs in the towels, but if one is found, it's likely from our housekeeping staff. We strive for this to never happen. If you're not satisfied with the linens, please let us know and we’ll gladly swap them out for you. Please make sure to book for the correct number of guests, as linens are prepared accordingly.

Our stay was spacious and comfortable. Communication with the boat was easy, and the location is close to the streetcar. It's not in the prettiest neighborhood, but we didn't have any issues with that. There were some stains on the blanket in the first bedroom, but the second two were fine, so we just took those. Clean towels, bathroom, and kitchen, but there wasn't any detergent for the washer/dryer.
Quiet place to sleep, decent neighborhood. Clean house, but definitely smaller than we needed. Good communication from the host and easy to book with VRBO.
Cute "shotgun style" home with neighbors sharing a paper thin wall. We could hear them, and I am sure they heard us.
Clean, convenient location, comfortable beds, and cute decor.
We chose this rental for the price and location to areas we were visiting. It did not disappoint in this regard. However, we struggled with hearing the neighbors and having to walk through each room to get to the bathroom. This would be an issue with any shotgun style rental and potential renters need to pay close attention to the layout before reserving.
Overall, we appreciated our stay and thankful we had a safe place to lay our heads.
Arrived to an unclean house. Got sent to the wrong property. Bathroom ceiling was leaking when we arrived and the floor was soaked. We were unable to even get in the door for about an hour. Difficult to communicate with host and you’d be lucky to get a response. Host promised us a 50% refund for the first day because of our issues.. never happened and was probably never going to happen.
All this within the first 2 hours of checking in.
Will never use VRBO again because of this experience. Trust me when I say you’re better off looking somewhere else.
Buyer beware! Nothing like the pics.
1) Location: Ghetto.
Bad area. Every building in this neighborhood, occupied or abandoned, has bars on windows. I asked drivers, "Is this area of town okay?" "Okay? No, this is bad. If neighborhoods were green, yellow, and red based on safety, this neighborhood is definitely red." "Of course it's bad. You're next to the prison!" One insisted on watching until we were safely inside the rental before driving away. Only one block south City Jail w/barbed wire, one block east abandoned hospital. You can't make this scene up.
2) Condition: Poor.
Pride of ownership overwhelming. Basic essentials and customary amenities? Ha. No handles on all cabinets, no bar soap, no bath rug, no laundry soap, no toilet paper holder, no plunger, no outlet covers, no smoke detector, no kitchen sink disposal. Photos lie-no front room w/seating. Instead, three rooms w/beds and sofa in the kitchen. One bed frame actually broken! So mattress corner slumped down 1.5 feet. Smell: dank must/cigarette smoke. Dirty conditions-cheddar cheese on kitchen floor, food crumbs on counter. Overwhelming feeling of dirrrrty.
3) Price: Ridiculous for conditions.
For the price this rental charges + those conditions = price-gouging. Party house shares wall w/owner's other rental. Paper thin walls: we heard neighbors’ conversations and more ;)
Would have left first night but non-refundable.
2916 is a classic New Orleans living arrangement in a typical New Orleans' community! The charming shotgun house is very, very clean and comfortable. It even dons an iron clawfoot tub, which made me want to spend more time relaxing in the bath. And, you might be surprised by the amount of space you have to move about. My party included 5 adult women, and we were reasonably comfortable with the 2-bedrooms, provided air mattress and our own air mattress. We were able to DRIVE to the Superdome within 6 minutes; Bourbon St., the airport and other things were less than 15 minutes away.
There are a few need to knows about this property. The neighborhood is not walkable, and it may look somewhat blight. BUT the neighborhood is secure, and people are helpful and friendly. Secondly, the walls are thin. Conversations, TV and construction work from the next door neighbors are CLEARLY audible as early as 7am. Another potential drawback is this place should not be rented if privacy is a concern. You will have to walk through both bedrooms to get to the kitchen or bathroom (layout: family room>bedroom1>bedroom2>kitchen>laundryroom and bathroom). It also may be pretty uncomfortable with any more than 6 people. Finally, restaurants are sparse in the community. You will likely eat away from home unless you cook.
The house was very beautiful and spacious, way bigger than we had predicted. The Host were very good, fast, and helpful communicators. We thought we locked ourselves out of the house around 12am and the host got back to us immediately, which was amazing!
The property was exactly as listed. The host was quick to answer any questions and also recommended things to do and locations of places. The rental was clean and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again.
We loved our stay here! We're local and were displaced from Ida. We've been staying in a camper on the Westbank for several months now and wanted to have a little getaway for my birthday. It was nicely styled and very comfortable. The clawfoot tub (and hot water for more than 3 minutes 😂) was definitely a highlight. Check-in was simple. Poli was also excellent about responding and very cordial. The only negative is that the location was in a kind of weird neighborhood. It wasn't very residential. Still, a great stay overall. Thank you!
I stay in this home with 8 other friends for a weekend during Mardi Gras and it was perfect. The location was safe, the house was clean and functional, and it was easy to get around. Management was very easy to get in touch with and were always friendly/helpful. The only thing about the house that I would like to point out is that it is advertised as sleeping 10, but it only has 2 beds and a pullout couch (as pictured in the photos). The beds and pullout couch were very comfortable and management kindly provided us 2 extra air mattresses to get to the 10 sleeping positions. This was not a problem for our group, but could be for others staying if they aren’t comfortable on air mattresses.
Like I mentioned before, this house was a great find at an affordable price, so I’d certainly recommend it for anyone wanting to explore NOLA.

We enjoyed our stay at the house. I have no complaints about the home. The neighbors were noisy and their is no parking.
The house was clean and located close to everything so that was great. I would have like to have better linens for the kitchen and bathroom as well as better flatware in the kitchen. Parking was a bit problematic but that is true e erywhere in New Orleans. L in all a pretty good value. I would stay here again.
Not the best layout - you have to go through the bedrooms to get to the kitchen and bathroom - but overall a great value for the size, price, location, etc. Good experience
I feel the only disappointment that came from me was one getting there late but that's my own fault, and my own ignorance on the general area and someone parked right in front of the rental but most of that is circumstances and nothing against the rental or my host. I really should of rent it out for more than one night and certainly will do that when I do back in few years or when ever. I only did it for one night because I thought I was closer on-site to the French Quarter tho I'm not familiar with New Orleans enough to gauge that apparently. Most of my friends bailed on me so we were quite comfortable with just the two of us tho I'm sure when I come back with a bigger group again I'll book it for a 6+,8+ just to secure both sides of the rental for extra beds.
We spent time at the home with our five daughters for our first trip to New Orleans! They loved the deep claw foot tub, I loved that we were close enough to walk to the streetcars so we could stay out of the hustle of the French Quarter! Highly recommend!
The house we originally rented was damaged from storm but the owner made it right and worked very hard to get another property ready for us and no additional cost and it was amazing!! I would 100% stay again and recommend it to anyone. It was clean and very comfortable and contacting the owner was very easy. Thank you!

Good and bad
This house is adorable and in a good part of town. However, it states it sleeps 10, but truly can only sleep 6. I would recommend supplying more kitchen items such as a can opener, mixing bowls, better skillet, dish towels, drinking glasses. Also it does have brand new appliances, but the refrigerator is WAY TOO SMALL. That’s something you would see in a dorm or small office.
Ok on to the war zone outside....upon arrival the first thing we saw was the MASSIVE dumpster right in front of the house....which meant we had to park quite a ways down the street. Called the lease manager and was told they had just finished remodeling the place and it would be moved the following week (which we would be gone). Not only was the dumpster left behind, but there were tools and building supplies left ALL over the front porch... from boxes of tiles, to paint cans, to sheets of drywall, bags of masonry, and more. We could not utilize the chairs on the porch at all! So on to the backyard....what in the world??? Tarps everywhere, paint cans thrown around, cinder block pieces all over, just a complete mess!! Couldn’t sit out there either. The overall inside is cute and clean, but I have never seen a place rented out that left such a hazardous area outside!! Not acceptable at all.
