Summary: Renovated 3 bd flat with soaring ceilings and wood floors throughout. Updated open kitchen and living room create a comfortable place for all guests to relax in. All beds have spa quality sheets. The walls are adorned with local art, and outside is the shared courtyard oasis, boasting outdoor dining and lounge chairs. Great place to enjoy a cocktail before exploring the city for an evening. Come enjoy this urban inner city oasis!
The Space: The house is a 4 plex, two long term tenants downstairs and two short term rentals upstairs. This unit is upstairs and the house as its own private entrance. There are 3 bedrooms that are shot-gunned. Shot-gunned is a distinctly New Orleans style of house that means you need to walk through each bedroom to get to the next, each room does have closing doors between. The living room and kitchen are open concept and the kitchen has been fully renovated if you to cook meals at home. There is a full fridge to hold all yummy leftovers you pick up while exploring the city.
The Neighborhood: This home is located in the historic 7th Ward / New Marigny neighborhood. It is in the inner-city and a very urban setting. This diverse and vibrant neighborhood has lots of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. Close proximity to the French Quarter and the Marigny. There you will find tons of great restaurants, bars, music venues and more. That being said, the area is a transitional neighborhood with quite a few homes in the neighborhood that still have not been renovated.
Getting Around: Very quick Uber/Lyft ride to the French Quarter. You can catch the St. Claude street car line 5 blocks away at the corner of Elysian Fields and St. Claude. Lots of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. If you have a vehicle and street park please do not block any neighbors driveways.
Other Things to Note: This home does contain a decibel monitoring device. The device is located in a common area and not in any bedroom or bathroom.

The place was nice but pretty run down and though its listed as $173 a night, our 2 nights came up to $1600 after all the fees and trip protection (extra $100) . To me that seems crazy and i would definitely find other arrangements next trip. The listing has private patio but it was shared with maybe 4 other units so often times there were groups of people we didn't know in our "private" patio.

Pretty good
Unit appeared clean and has all the things you would need. Towels, coffee maker and comfortable beds. Felt weird with the greeting of very large bugs at the top of the stairs. Easily disposed of then more appeared each of the 4 nights stayed. Write it off as being an old home and had no desire to cook. The place felt and looked clean otherwise. Decent walking distance from the trolly line and the great music and food of Frenchmen street. I missed the 10:00AM checkout is too early and they do not allow a late check out.
It was very clean and the bath towels were plentiful and fluffy. I loved how not that much cleaning was required. Don't like 10 am check. Loved there was some dry pasta and canned goods.
