Clearly the property is not closely managed. There were literally 8 garbage carts on the curb lawn in front of the house, some of them really smelly. There was also flood debris that still wasn't picked up.
The layout of the apartment was such that the only way to access the second bedroom was by walking thru the first. So the apartment with the queen bed had no privacy.
The lighting in the kitchen was so poor, it wasn't possible to cook after dark.
The hall light bulb was out, and the rear entry door knob fell off in my hand. The landscaping in the front and back yard consisted in 2" gravel.
I guess thats what you get when you rent from a business rather than an individual
Perfect in every way! The location, comfort, and cleanliness of this charming “shotgun’ style house will most definitely be the place to stay, once again, when returning to NOLA.
I throughly enjoyed my stay at 2430 Valance...I was concerned on street parking availability would be a problem, but it wasn’t. I felt very safe in the neighborhood. And had good neighborhood restaurants in easy walking distance.
My wife and I loved this place. It is close to Downtown New Orleans and also has great coffee and restaurants within walking distance. The property itself was beyond great. Clean and very well maintained. Overall great experience.
